Spiritual Housecleaning - Strongholds Edu

Do you have unsettling sinful habits, weaknesses, torments, recurring bad fruit character flaws?  I'm not talking about big things like murder or adultery… I'm talking about areas in your life, in your thought patterns that keep you barreling like a hamster in it's wheel instead of exhibiting Galatians 5 victory?
Spiritual Housecleaning is a series I'm doing to help expose all those dark, dirty little things that the enemy would rather you think is just a normal struggle in your life.
You're here because you know there's abundant life, you've tasted it… but a taste just won't do… you want to live it!

Hi Freedom 1 here, with a little video crash course illustration about enemy access that ties us up from conforming into the image of Christ Jesus. I'll show how we get on the brink of agreeing with the devil… how to overcome when the pressure is on, what happens when we blow it and how the sins of our forefathers haunt us and wear us down.

In 2 Corinthians 10:4&5 NAS we read, "…for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but  divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ." Other versions call those 'fortresses' - 'strongholds', and that's what we're talking about here.

In Mark 3:27 is the ever popular illustration that perhaps we've read and agreed with but never thought about in terms of those recurring troubles we have, that the Word says we shouldn't.

I'll begin to flesh it out with our character Mr. Bitter as he's active on the job-site… later we'll send in  an interviewer as well…  Roll the Spirit-Cam!

FILM PARODY SEQUENCE

INTERVIEW SEQUENCE

*Note:  Generational curses or sins of the father…. wear us down, because they have legal access to do so.  The generational ties…. let's face it, it's like chinese water torture…. just always there nagging…. those thoughts, those voices in the head.  Remember in 2 Corinthians 10:5?  ["Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ." ] This is not only talking about what our human minds come up with, but who else can influence our mind with those nagging 'voices' those contrary thoughts?

It's so simple though… appropriate what Jesus did…. and be done with it!

But I don't know everything about my ancestor back 4 generations ago…. you say…. well, we'll save that for another video.

Recap…. how do we get a stronghold?
• Blatant unrepentant sin all by ourselves.
• If we agree with ANY lie…. we create a door.

Journey along with me in this series of Spiritual Housecleaning as we learn to dismantle every work of the enemy in our lives and be equipped to stop these cycles cold in our lives and all those around us, so that we can truly be free, FREE INDEED!

Scriptures used in sequences:
Ephesians 4:31
James 4:7
Numbers 14:18

Spiritual Housecleaning Part 1

'Spiritual house-cleaning' is the process of freedom from demonic oppression.  When we are examining ourselves… find bad habits, bad fruit, evidence of unrepentant sin and we begin to cry out earnestly with desire to not only overcome, but to change at all costs… doors of access begin to shut.  Deliverance begins to happen.

When I began down this path of deep self examination… I realized that I ‘had issues’.  In reading the Word of God and comparing my ‘Walk’ along-side of it... things weren’t adding up.  I found myself identifying oh--too--well, with Saint Paul’s lament in Romans 7:15, “For what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate.”

I found myself needing a deliverer because try as I might.... I still had my issues (I still HAVE issues!) despite doing and saying ‘all the right things’. Despite all the heartfelt repentance, forgiveness and reading the Word!  The Lord showed me in the scriptures…. Moses delivered the Israelites from the hand of Pharaoh…. we can liken that to what takes place when we receive Jesus as Lord.  But were the Israelites completely free after that point? No… what happened?  They succumbed to influences and what were the roots of those thoughts that turn to action?  Ask yourself… was there a root spirit of bondage, of fear, of distrust…. and you can go on & on deeper into this meditation in seeing they had those same things before the exodus.

The fact of the matter is, is that walking out your salvation is an understatement to it's true meaning church.  There are a great many words that have changed meaning these days.

Why is the word ‘Deliverance’ a dark and dirty word that society has programmed us into believing that is a rare necessity only for little levitating girls with spinning heads, foaming & cursing mouth manifestations?  Maybe because ‘Possession’ is a dark and dirty word that is often associated with it.
In Chris Simpson’s guide entitled: Deliverance from Evil Spirits, I found this interesting tidbit… Did you know...:

“In the New Testament, the Greek word expressing the presence of demonic spirits within people is daimonizomai (Die-mon-nye-zom-my). What this word means is to be demonized; to be under the power or influence of a demon in certain areas; to have a demon. In the King James Version of the Bible this particular Greek word is translated 11 times as “to be possessed with devils.” The word “possessed,” however, is a mislead-ing translation for this Greek word. To English speaking people the term “possessed” implies total ownership of something. This concept, when applied to the relationship between a demonic entity and a person, has no support in the scripture or in the original intent of the Greek word. There is no suggestion in the scripture that a demon has totally taken over a person as the word “possessed” implies. Even the Gaderene demoniac had enough humanity to cry out to Jesus for help. Rather, close scriptural study shows that the effect of demons upon people was usually in one or more areas of the personality - not the whole person.”

Does the thought of demonic access set well in comparison with what the ‘church’ has programmed us with?  Of course not.  The devil is always making us do something... but we have no part in it whatsoever, “Why, that sneaky devil just came outta nowhere, no one is safe”.  No, that's a Wrong mentality, that gives the devil power and lessens the power of God.  Or how about “We’re all sinners with no good in us”; Wrong. God Justifies us through Christ & uses us in the plan of salvation.

When you’ve tried everything to no avail... full-well knowing that God is good.... maybe it’s time to take seriously that ‘every penny must be paid for’...

Matthew 18:33-35 "Should you not also have had mercy on your fellow slave, even as I had mercy on you? And his lord, moved with anger, handed him over to the torturers until he should repay all that was owed him. So shall My heavenly Father also do to you, Peter, if each of you does not forgive his brother from your heart."

Suddenly, it makes sense--  because we realize that the Word of God IS very true despite man’s desire to pick and choose based on the pride in the mind or fleshly desires.  Sin opens us up to satan.  The price for sin is the atoning blood of Jesus.  The glaring 'issues' we have… the ones that echo Paul's Lament in Romans 7:15… the diseases, the repetition of failure in our lives point to areas of access.

The bridge of Sanctification is a marvelous structure that ‘Deliverance’ steadily ropes us across.  Even the smallest of undesirable fruit is not welcome in the offering of our very selves unto the Lord.

This is some hard stuff and I will be addressing it because this term 'Deliverance' and the concept of 'Spiritual Housecleaning' is very broad.  Some of the 'issues' we deal with… we have no understanding where they have come from and why we can't seem to break free…. those point to Generational Curses (sins of forefathers) Soul Ties, and Curses (whether self induced or by others) in general.  This doesn't seem fair, but it's in the Word and if you have these 'issues'… diving in to understand the 'Why' will help you overcome.

Another hard area is that the enemy is attracted to pain, just like an open wound in the ocean attracts sharks…. so areas of wounding or trauma…. which aren't even sins we have committed also give a doorway for the enemy to frequent in our lives.  How do we heal the wound?  This is stuff I'm going to touch on later in this series.

Another guide, prayers etc. on the subject can be found at my site under 'clean up your act'.

Spiritual Tips 4 - Tips for Teachers

Are you a God-ordained 'Teacher' of the 5-fold, in that the gifts have not passed away? If your drive is to open up and bless the body of Christ with any morsel of revelation of the kingdom of God. this is for you.

1.) Go with what you know. Nothing regurgitated. nothing from a book that you've read but not personally been through or God hasn't specifically shown you Himself. God gives all of us a facet if it weren't so then we wouldn't need a 'body of Christ'. There's nothing wrong with building upon more facets already out there, but if you hop on a bandwagon of sorts and it's not coming from the heart, it benefits no one and if it's not birthed from HIM, it's your own bad-self Pride that you need to be dealing with!
Some people put themselves in this position because they have a 'ministry' a 'following' that is expecting them every wednesday night at 7pm. Be careful people only do what you see the Father doing and don't get swept down the river with that old feeding trough trap.

2.) Go with what you know AND have Conquered, because--- you'll be tested by your words. If you haven't conquered something and blab it out prematurely guess what? You're going to deal with it some more. It's not only the devil that stands before God and says, "Hey, they say they are over it, I just had them a moment ago, talk is cheap, I ain't go'in nowhere unless they therefore STAND". But the enemy also enlists human weapons to rail against you, to whittle your faith down and make it even harder for you. Hey, let's face it the enemy is ruthless he knows you well. Your good witness is more important to snuff out than a christian that's minding their own business in unspiritual Logos-land. Teachers you know you're more accountable. If you don't have your 'stuff' together and the pressure is great and you fall what happens to the people that were listening to you?
I know, it's hard you start to get freedom and revelation and you get excited. But hold up lil' buck-a-roo don't let your excitement be captured by the enemy pushing you.

Part of the lie the enemy often pushes on people is that YOU HAVE TO BE FIRST. this is something 'new'. Nope, nothing new under the sun. There is no hurry if you are trusting in the Lord. You will absolutely know when the time is right to deliver the message of the Lord you'll be inspired, it will come out with an unmistakable anointing upon it; you will have peace and there won't be any feeding pearls to swine.

3.) God will bless you where you are at. No task He commissions you with is too small or unimportant. I have an immense burden to teach but one day He told me to do the bible promise series here on YouTube. That doesn't require teaching, just reciting from the good book. What I didn't realize is what an important tool, weapon and blessing it is for me! BUT, He knows! Now it's a referral I use when helping others.
The same with doing 'Children's Church'. I simply turn on the camera when I teach the kiddies & then spend some time editing & then what happens? My kids LOVE the episodes! Not only do they sit through it once but they watch the fun video after the fact! Do I want the word of God in me? Do I want it rooted in my kids? YES!
3a.) God will bless you where you are at because God gives us these teachings first for ourselves! As I go through old teachings, I find blessings there. Teacher, if you're not finding blessing in your own teachings-- if you don't feel that anointing there that excites you to go deeper--- analyze, was it 'you' or God-ordained?

4.) Look at me vs. Look at God. When you start a teaching as led by God, stay the narrow road. Are you equipping people or are you looking for accolades? People want to know how to go on deeper with God and how to be free. We are called to use our testimony, but there's a fine line there. Point to Jesus. Educate the people. And be 'Real' in your delivery-- don't only tell half of it cuz rest brings down your posh reputation. If you've conquered it, it shouldn't bug you anyways!

5.) Be You. God has designed you and equipped you just as you are. Don't squish yourself into the preacher on t.v. box of the month if that's not you. I have people call me a fake christian cuz I'm goofy instead of serious and stoic. But hey, I'm reaching who I'm supposed to all you cool people that watched this to the end!

Spiritual Tips 3 - Direction

If you're hungrily seeking God but find yourself at a crossroad of sorts and in need of direction, this episode is for you.

I don't have the time for doing a transcript for this one but let me expound that there are times when God gets a little quieter so that in your hunger to be in His will, you will pursue Him. In doing so, faith is tested and what we know to be true in the Word is proven.

1.) Knowing who you are in Him through the Word is paramount.
2.) Then I like to encourage people to take a spiritual giftings test... quoted from the teaching entitled Know Thyself - The Matrix.... I've often urged people to take a 'giftings test'...do a google on the internet for: WAGNER-MODIFIED HOUTS online and you can find an online test that will help you see what God has planted in you. Some people just mish-mash along doing a little bit of everything or they've been put in a box as a workhorse or find a position that looks better for their posterity than in really serving God.
3.) Discerning your thought life comes next... because if we allow those thoughts to tornado through our heads and confuse us.... if we agree with those thoughts or feelings, we become ineffective, waterlogged-- going around that mountain one more time sweet Jesus LOL! Check out Battlefield of the Mind - Discerning Thoughts. Not every thought is our own. Every verge of a deeper walk with Jesus involves a trying time... so that the dross in our life is burnt off and we are found worthy to take on more talents of the kingdom to multiply for the glory of God.
4.) After you become well-trained in taking those thoughts captive that do not align with the spirit of God... Congratulations.... now its time to press in hard to hear Him in all things. Now begins Battlefield of the Mind - Hearing God (another vid I've done).

Remember this is a process into conforming into the image of Christ, therefore, direction HAS to come from the Lord. And walking into His will for your life involves those tests that draw us nearer to God and prove our faithfulness to be His vessel. Seeking His direction is an awesome journey of growth, that doesn't come without price.

Sure, God can send us people to help us with direction... but we should be seeking Him more than asking everyone around us for advice!

Why is it so important to hear from God alone?.... well, man isnt perfect, and in the days to come, the deception will be so great that only those in intimate relationship with our Messiah will know what to do. Now thats direction to seek His direction!

Spiritual Tips 2 Share It!

'The Skinny on sharing your Testimony'

Why do it?
1.  Why we need to testify...  It's plain in the word of God.... in the book of Revelation 12:11 "But they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony..."

I also want to add that by stepping out verbally is part of a process...

In 1 Corinthians 2:4&5 we hear Paul say, "My conversation and my preaching were not with persuasive words of wisdom, but with a demonstration of the Spirit and of power so that your faith would not be based on human wisdom but on the power of God."

Your testimony is a shoe-in for people to be receptive to the power of God, and the process we go through is less and less of Us (as Paul was talking of those 'persuasive words of wisdom') but instead more and more of the physical presence of God flowing through us touching people.  So He's laid this burden upon my heart to encourage people in sharing their testimonies...  like an athlete has to train the body, we too should be taking heed of the scriptures and step out into being a vessel for the power of God.

2.  Multiplication with a video is wisdom.  If you find yourself repeating your testimony to people, consider all the people out there that could benefit from it that you don't personally run across.  Consider getting it out there 24/7 for people to come across and be blessed by it, by the direction of the Holy Spirit.  Seems like a no-brainer.  If you cast the net, Jesus will fill it, but the key is that you have to get that net out there.  Want to catch one fish... tell your neighbor.... want to allow God to do more, put it in a medium that can reach many.

3.  Reaching the one.  It's not about quality. The Spirit of God on a piece is felt regardless... and although multiplication is wisdom, as far as quantity... we could be used as a shepherd that goes after the 1 from the 99. So-- after publishing a video, and not getting responses, don't lose heart... you could be the only one to reach one that would then turn around and reach millions. Can you see the honor in that?  Some sow, some water and some harvest... each cannot live without the hand of the other and each is equally important in the Kingdom.

4.  Builds our own faith.  When our past is healed, we can give praise to God, which of course, encourages others (if you got through it, I can get through this too!).  The very act of delivering your testimony can be a powerful signpost for you.

So let's talk about Getting Hands-on and doing it!

From 'Bystander' to Participant

1.  Go with what bears. As I exhort you to share your walk of faith, I'm not asking you to throw all your pearls to swine.  If you have victory and you are at peace with a segment of your walk... maybe you are to only give a chapter in your life or just one experience.  There's nothing wrong with testimony blog style, so long as it doesn't focus on 'poor ole' me', NO, remember a testimony is 'look what the Lord has done!'.

For some, you hold your audience better with small chapters of your walk then an exhaustive commentary of everything from birth to what you prayed this morning.  So also think of your audience... think of a person having one problem and your one segment of testimony perhaps only addressing that one issue.  I personally share tidbits of testimony throughout teachings…everyone is different, seek Yeshua for personal direction, Father knows best!

If inevitably, your sharing will be sharing pearls with swine  ..and you know what I mean... (Matthew 13:30a Let both grow together until the harvest..") sometimes it's better to reach the lost then some 'christians', who like to vaunt themselves over having a cleaner past then you might've had... anyways, if this is an issue but it still bears on your heart to share... get another youtube account, blur your image or put a picture backdrop with your testimonial voiceover.  Let there be no hindrance to the fruit you have to bear to help others draw near to Christ!

2.  Be real & don't sugarcoat!  People give the results & are too proud to elaborate that they 'know this' because they failed.... hey, I started to do this & God said "Ah, ah, ah... that's not what Really happened... you need to be real", and this is why; if you are too proud to admit the process...it just looks unattainable to people.  I think this is called humility  : )  So this is really the difference between a sermon and a testimony... a sermon says do this or that because of the character in this 'story' (again recall, Paul's mention of 'persuasive words of wisdom' in 1 Corinthians 2).... but a testimony says don't do it or do it because I'm a living witness to it's result.  There is real power in being the living breathing witness.

3.  On a technical note... you may not have a great camera or video editing software, but you can be aware of your surroundings.  Turn your camera on and speak a bit, then watch what you just created.  Are there any distractions... do you have a bobble head in the window sill? Not loud enough? Kids fighting or a cat meowing in the background, that might turn people off from taking your word of testimony seriously?  There are some quality issues you can control so take full advantage of doing the best you can... remember this isn't some story... this is a precious testimony of Faith in the creator of the Universe!

4.  Do you have stage-fright?  Consider writing out your testimony as a script you can scroll through on your computer screen as you record.  Or, invite a friend over and have them behind the camera and just focus on them as you speak or allow them to interact with you interview-style.  Worst case scenario... pick a spirit-filled person that your testimony has personally touched and have them share for you.

5.  Don't give up!  I can always tell when God is flowing out my mouth in power... it's because there is so much adversity in producing a video.  Everything you can imagine happens to try to thwart the production process. A video that should take a couple of hours from start to finish ends up taking days.

The enemy is going to throw all kinds of FEAR at you and excuses, but it's time you come off the sidelines and quit believing that you have nothing new to offer.  You have lots to offer.  This isn't about being a christian rockstar of sorts, or a ministry mogul.. this is about been there, done that... and my Redeemer Lives.

End of the Debate - Stop Arguing

I think the era for debating anything is over because the time of the gentiles has been fulfilled.... and because of that..."They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,'..." Jer. 31:34/Hebrews 8:8-12

Just like my gray hair… there are times and seasons for everything…. ages, if you will.
In 1964 the big bang theory was solidified by proof through Cosmic microwave background radiation;  whereby before that point, atheists pushed that the universe was infinite.  With this discovery of a starting point that mirrored the Word of God…. with the fulfillment of the Age of the Gentiles just 3 years later… are we paying attention to the times?

"And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest...." (Hbr 8:11)
What are many doing still trying to prove God with words then?

Proverbs 9:7-8 "Whoever corrects a mocker is asking for insult; whoever reproves a
    wicked person receives abuse.
Do not reprove a mocker or he will hate you; reprove a wise person
    and he will love you."

Perhaps asking for abuse?

No, I believe that it's not about proving anything with arguments anymore... now is the time to manifest the word and make it become flesh by 'doing greater works than these'…as He promised we ARE to do.

"I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father." (John 14:12)

Think about it… if we lay hands on a sick unbeliever and they are healed …and we share with them by whom they are healed in power and demonstration in the name of Jesus...  what is going to speak louder?

One of my favorite quotes:  "Preach the gospel at all times -- If necessary, use words."
--  Saint Francis of Assisi

How to we get to a point of 'greater works'?  Do we believe the entire bible or have we allowed the salad-bar mentality of the age to pervade our understanding?

In 1 Corinthians (12:4-11) Saint Paul speaks of gifts of the Spirit.  He even mentions twice that these different giftings are "THE SAME SPIRIT".

•words of wisdom
•words of knowledge
•faith
•healing
•miracle-working
•prophecy
•distinguishing of spirits
•tongues
•interpretation of tongues

These things have not passed away.  How many churches have decided that everything but 'faith' has passed away because everything else seems uncomfortable to them?  If they are 'bad' or passed away, then you had better throw out faith as well… but I ask you again…. where do greater works come from-- these works that will bring our Jewish brothers and sisters to the revelation of Jesus…Yeshua, the Messiah?

Romans 11:11  "I say then have they (the Jews) stumbled that they should fall? God forbid; but rather through their fall salvation is come unto Gentiles, for TO PROVOKE THEM TO JEALOUSY."

I'm going to tell you right now that each of these giftings are very alive and well and if you do not eagerly desire them, or if you believe but do not exercise them… you better have paid attention to the scripture of the 'talents' (Matthew 25:14-30; Luke 19:12-28) because you either use it, or you lose it.

I have heard a story of a man that earnestly desired the gift of tongues, and it took him 18 months before he received it...

1 Corinthians 12:31  "But earnestly desire the greater gifts. And I show you a still more excellent way."

...You better believe most of that time was spent reprogramming from believing 'Oh, tongues aren't for everybody'.    People… deprogram!  Get away from the lies of satan and the disbelief of man.
"Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you. "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it shall be opened. "Or what man is there among you, when his son shall ask him for a loaf, will give him a stone? "Or if he shall ask for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!"  Matthew 7:7-11
Take off the Rose-colored glasses!
Dude… My Mom & Dad say it's fake…
Dude… my church doesn't do that stuff….
Dude… my pastor says that's all passed away
Dude (*eureka!)… it's right here in the Word of God… why didn't I ever see this before?

These gifts are for everybody… how bad do you want it bride?

Are you going to listen to man or are you going to sit at the feet of Jesus and learn like Mary did.  Or, are you going to continue to run around and do a 'good thing' by defending God with your words like a Martha? Are you going to do the better thing?

The young rich ruler came to Jesus and asked, "What must I do to inherit eternal life?"  How did Jesus answer him?  He said "You know the commandments…"
How many of you 'know' the Word of God like the young rich ruler did… but Jesus is asking you to drop everything…. all those mindsets and not follow doctrines of men.  "Get rid of it all and follow Me", He says.  "Taste and See", He is saying in this hour… but people will not take those glasses off.  They are not hungry for 'greater works'… in fact the enemy has pelted them with the phrase 'lying signs and wonders' so much, that they are afraid of anything supernatural.  They have been programed not to "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." [1 Thessalonians 5:21] People would rather attack me for taking the rich young ruler story out of it's financial context than to understand that He gave me this scripture to speak to apologists out there… that it's time to go deeper.

Is apologetics dead?  God gave me an example…. you know those 'snuggie blankets'?  Well, by the end of last year, everyone was getting them… they are still all the rage because now you can find them cheaper & all over the place… but like any fad… once the market is saturated, then it will decline unless it changes with the times.  Sure… be a defense for God, but picking stupid fights instead of growing in the anointing to say, "God is real, let me show you with His tangible presence, because I am a living ark of the covenant" --now that is the evolution of apologetics.

Remember my gray hair?  I am changing and there's nothing I can do about it.  "Color it", you say… a person can only hide 'the truth' for so long, but God not only knows how many hairs are upon my head, but there is no hiding the truth from Him.  God says 'greater works', and people, there is something you can do about it.

In Zechariah 14 it says all will keep the feast of tabernacles "or else"…  this hasn't happened yet, but do you see that we need to begin to step inline with where God is going?  Believing His word and what He says, and therefore conforming to it.  Do something about it!

Let me pray for you…

Age of Gentiles Prophecy Fulfilled (Fleshed Out)

This is a little something to flesh out the proof that the 'Age of the Gentiles' has come to an end.  Sure many of you realize this… it's old news but have we gleaned what this really means?  I'll touch on it during this and in a teaching to come… as we are not to sit idle and say 'Yep, it happened… it's true'… but not change and conform to where God is heading with His ultimate plan.

Yes, God has promised many times in the bible that one day his face would be turned back to his chosen people, Israel. (Ezek. 36:19-24), (Ezek. 37:15-23), (Isa. 54:4-7). And: Luke 21:24 states about Israel: "And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled." This is speaking of the hard times Israel will come across until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled and God turns his face back to them.
Rom 11:25-29
  1. “For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery--so that you will not be wise in your own estimation--that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, "THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION, HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB."
  2. "THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS."
  3. From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of {God's} choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers; for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.”

This again is a warning to the Gentiles that God will turn his face back to Israel when the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. Hebrews 8:8-12 states about Israel:
  1. “For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
  2. Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
  3. For this [is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:  And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.  For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.”

Again God has said he will turn back to Israel. There is another component to the scriptures. Luke 21:24 states: ".....and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled." Rom. 11:25 states: ".......blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in." These scriptures make it clear that the days of the gentile are not continuous and have an appointed end. Another point is that both of these scriptures mention occurrences that will happen at the end of the gentile period.
1.) Jerusalem shall no longer be trodden down of the gentiles.
2.) Partial blindness will no longer happen to Israel.
[In Romans 11:11, Paul wrote:  "I say then have they (the Jews) stumbled that they should fall? God forbid; but rather through their fall salvation is come unto Gentiles, for TO PROVOKE THEM TO JEALOUSY."]
So according to these scriptures there will be an end to God's grace toward the gentiles, when this end comes Jerusalem shall again be in the hands of the Jews, and at that time Israel will no longer be blind. If you consider yourself to be a gentile the biggest question on your mind is probably, "When will the gentile time be fulfilled?" The answer is in the eight chapter of the book of Daniel. Within this chapter Daniel describes a vision.
[Read Daniel 8 for yourself.]
This chapter is very important. It is very mysterious and Daniel's associates couldn't understand it even though Gabriel had explained it to Daniel. Gabriel explained to Daniel that this vision concerned the end time (Daniel 8:19) and that it was about a battle between the Grecian king and the Medo/Persian king. It is not until now, in the end time, we can get an idea of the message from this vision. Such a battle was fought between King Darius III and Alexander the Great, at Issus in then Syria, in the Roman year of 333 B.C. You may ask your self, "Why is this battle so important? Why would this be in the Bible? After all, many kings fought with one another in those times." But this one was important, because it gives a starting date for the two thousand three hundred days of Daniel's vision (Daniel 8:13-14). In the book of Daniel days are used as a symbol of years, so the days are actually two thousand three hundred years. And what will happen for those years? Daniel 8:13 says that both the sanctuary and the host were to be trodden under foot. These same words echo back in Luke 21:24 that again states: ".....and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled." This tells us that Daniel's vision was concerning the length of the time of grace toward the Gentiles. We now have a starting date (333 B.C.), a length of time (2300 years), and an action to happen at the end of that time (Jerusalem being retaken by Israel and the time of the Gentiles closing). To get the date of this occurrence we simply have to the beginning time from the ending time. 2300 A.D. - 333 B.C. = 1967 A.D. (2300 - 333 = 1967). According to history the Jews, who call themselves Israel, reclaimed the city of Jerusalem in 1967 in the six day war. And to this day they rule over it. If this is true, then the Gentile times were fulfilled, grace was withdrawn from the gentiles, and God turned his face back to Israel in 1967.
If Hebrews 8:11 states:  "And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest."… then we need to consider that it's not about 'talk' anymore.  If we are to provoke the Jews to jealousy, how is that to happen?  Is it maybe by conforming into the image of Christ and doing 'greater works' than these?
1 Corinthians 2:4-5  "My conversation and my preaching were NOT with persuasive words of wisdom, but with a DEMONSTRATION of the Spirit and of power so that your faith would not be based on human wisdom but on the power of God."  (Emphasis mine).

Spiritual Warfare

What is Spiritual Warfare, why do we need it?  Why would Jesus tell us to bind and loose if He took care of it all at the cross?  I'll be sharing the importance of the application... the appropriation for what Jesus did here on this episode of hearingGod.

Spiritual warfare is the next step for a spirit-filled, born again overcomer.  It is one thing to believe the promises of God, but an overcomer steps into the ministry of Jesus... doing what He did, and even 'greater works than these'.

Spiritual warfare is simply the implementation or the applying of the blood of Jesus, and the application, with authority, regarding of the word of God.  It is you saying 'I only do what I see the Father doing'.  It is NOT in running around picking fights with the devil... which is a dangerous contrivance of the flesh.  If God doesn't lead, you will not succeed!

A spiritual warrior realizes what this statement means:  "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do".   That we war not against flesh and blood, but powers and principalities... that evil spirits influence people, cities and nations... and that we, in the power of His blood, have His authority to bind the demonic from operating, and loose the things that align with the Spirit of God here on earth.

When a person can understand that humans are influenced by spirits, fear can be overcome.  "What can man do to me?" (Psa 56:11, Psa 118:6)   This of course does not make us 'above the law' of common sense... If we stray away from seeking His will and in doing only what we see the Father doing... we will reap the consequences of presumption.

I have an experience to share...
I don't have the luxury of getting out much, so when a co-worker of my husband  offered to babysit and paid for our dinner, we were elated.  We went out & had a blast.  The next day my younger son was telling me how the co-worker kept badgering my older son about getting a girlfriend.

Whoops!   Maybe we were a little too excited to get out of the house in that we forgot to do some spiritual house-cleaning before we left the kids with this co-worker.  And this is part of spiritual warfare... realizing that we cannot allow presumption to reign over our actions.  True, the person isn't like a child molester or anything... but all people are eligible to be influenced by spirits.  Presumption was to let this guy watch our kids and trust that everything would just turn out fine, but as a spiritual warrior we must 'know better'-- we have to first seek God's plan... not our selfish desire to get out of the house and have a nice dinner.

So in seeking God about it, I was led into a teaching moment with our children.  I was able to instruct them about what the bible says, and then set that next to the visible behavior of the co-worker, the inordinate fascination with women or a spirit of 'lust', so they could see that it was a spiritual issue.  I was able to explain the difference between being able to cast a spirit out vs. binding the spirit, because if a spirit is welcome... it's their choice.... we cannot make it for them.  BUT, we do have authority to bind and loose!  So I was able to equip my kids that if in a situation where they recognize a spirit beginning to manifest... how they can deal with it, by binding it from operation.

Think of the foreign countries that hand the kids a rifle and put them on the line... on the same token, don't you dismiss the power of a praying child for one moment... you need to teach them how to overcome-- how to be that arrow in your quiver.  This is important... Mom & Dad aren't always going to catch everything.

So can you see the spiritual warfare in all of this?  We can't bury our heads in the sand and go into fear living in the world... we have to believe that we are above only and never beneath. (Deu 28:13)

What about things bigger than spiritual influences on people?  Do you cry out over the abominations in the land? (Eze 9:4 ) Do you know you can make a difference?
Deu 11:24 "Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours..."
When you see areas of depravity in your city or neighborhood, it is the physical sign of a spiritual problem.

And, I want to give some credence to the term "territorial spirits"....Even in the Word we see clearly that the demonic can set in some tent pegs in a locale and reek all sorts of havoc.  In Daniel 10:13 we see that principalities rule territorially, because of the tell-tale kingship title:  "But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days.  Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia."

What gives that prince and power of the air more authority to hold the people in bondage even more?....What people welcome, is welcomed...if they dive into sin, and lose their conscience and openly embrace evil... evil is what will reign.  But God raises a standard. (“When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall raise a standard against him” Isaiah 59:19.)

Again, if you are sighing & crying... it's perhaps because God is raising you up.  So let's talk strategy.  Prayer walking, or prayer driving is a way to bring in the Spirit of God to (Psa 110:1)"...make thine enemies thy footstool."  Again, this is taking the Word of God to heart... believing it and implementing it.     Does this mean to abandon all common sense and go walking in the darkest part of town?  No, again... if you ask, Yeshua you'll find out what to do.

My husband and I have amazing testimony of psychic shops and hidden prostitution rings shutting down because of the burden we had in our locale.  We've prayer-walked New Age fairs and witchcraft purveyors finding their hocus pocus to naught for the day, including tibetan 'art' ceremonies that openly boast that they invoke a deity or deities----hmmm, a 'gate of hell', perhaps?

Even my young son can praise Jesus because one day he and Dad were led to prayer walk a different area (at my son's leading) and they found out the next day, that in that area they walked, a child on a bike was hit with a car, but no bad came of it.  My son marveled... in that the enemy desired to shed innocent blood, but by the simple prayer of this little one HE heard and dispatched His angels!

Binding and loosing... you betcha.... you are the living ark of the covenant, the Holy fire-bottle of the presence of God.  You are all about what the 'gap' needs to be filled with to bridge the Spirit of God across. (Eze 22:30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.)

What about things even bigger than what I'd call 'territorial deliverance'?  What about 'the nation' or nations, or people groups that need to be free?  If the Lord puts a burden on your heart... go to your prayer closet and pray and ask God.  I believe there are a great many of intercessors and prophets out there that aren't blossoming their gift because they are waiting on their church or prayer circle of friends to feel that burden or because of that burden are ignored or chastised.  I tell you to go to that place in secret and pray, and be obedient.  Do as the Father leads because those around you may never 'get it'.

We are not in happy club-mode people... to serve Him is not the popular thing because man likes to get the credit.  God is looking for warriors with hearts completely sold out to Him... ones that sigh and cry, ones that care for all mankind... not just the ones that we like.  We need to be in get-as-close-to-Elohim-as-possible, mode!

Battlefield of the Mind - Hearing God

Hearing God is never a method but how do you learn to hear the voice of God?
I'll share a little bit of my personal experience in this episode of hearingGod.

Part of the Battlefield of the Mind is that you want to hear His voice, His direction and plans for your life.  He knows best, right?

First things first... we need to understand that the Word of God is true.  If we hit some grey areas then we need to seek God and ask Him to show us, and then be open with all of your senses to how He shows up.

Hearing God is a relational lifestyle.  You do some talking, you do some listening.  Do your friends like to hear vain repetition from you?  You certainly don't appreciate not being listened to.  Well, you have to view your relationship with God just the same.  I'm not big on 'methods', but it's pretty clear in the scriptures that God tells us what to do.
Mat 7:7-8 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened."
So, lemme share some stories with you...
The person that brought me to the Lord was so on fire for God.  He'd ask God every single thing... and one day he was sharing a testimony about how he asked God if he should have a snack or take a nap... and He had an impression of the answer and so he did it, & then all this drama happened later & it caused him to have to stay up all night or something so because he took this nap, he was 100% physically unfazed the next day.  So he was just praising God because of something so simple... that he asked God, that he heard God and because of that obedience, in any circumstance he was kept in perfect peace and in strength.

So how does God speak?  Can you use your imagination?  Anything of your senses, including dreams.  Things that repeat in your day...  you might not get it the first time or two, but when He keeps putting it in front of you, you have to ask yourself is this really coincidence, or is this something I need to pay attention to?

Another bit of sharing of something that happened to me recently...
I had a person contact me over a comment I had in one of my videos where I was saying that the KJV is the best all-round version to stick with.  So he was dogging that a bit saying that there was omission/replacement of the Creator's true name with Lord... yadada, yadada.  Go check out this website the actual name is Yâhuwshúa` or Ya-hweh. So I asked God that night, cuz I was feeling a little unsettled and then that night He gave me a dream...

In the dream I was at a track... preparing for a race. People were getting dressed for the final run. The female coach was bent on a sort of favoritism for 2 of the other runners... they were good at running. The coach didn't seem to care for anyone else.

When it got real close to race time, I asked "where is my jersey & shorts?" & the coach snottily said I wasn't allowed to race because my previous race times were not totaled up and signed by a coach. Suddenly I was forbidden to run because of a technicality? I was angry... the coach clearly would not help me over this issue that wasn't my fault, and wouldn't allow me to approach the start line to appeal to judges over a very simple matter. End of Dream...

When I awoke I had a parable play out like a waking dream... a vision, if you will.

There was a big party and I met a gorgeous man there and we had the best time together. We were immediately in love. Before the end of the night we made plans to go out on a date... to meet at a certain place at a certain time. After we parted, friends asked me his name... but I was unsure of his name so they began to badger me that it wouldn't work... attack me for not knowing and trying to talk me out of everything to destroy us. But I knew it didn't matter because we had already made plans and we were in love... I only had to follow our plans and show up. End of Vision.

Case in point.... I have a copy of 'the scriptures' bible which has 'proper' biblical names in it. I am well aware of the 'proper name of God' debate... but every day people cry out "Jesus" and He saves them.

And this was the ironic reply I received after sharing what God spoke to me:
"If you were the known beneficiary of an inheritance, but the person who made the will put down a nickname for you that only he or she was aware of, who do you think would receive the inheritance? Whatever your real name is, that is who should receive the inheritance, but because a nickname was used, you would get nothing. The point is that while even I was originally saved under Jesus Christ, after learning of the original name of Yahuwshua, I believe that calling on the commonly known name (Jesus) is no longer valid."

BAM BAM.  Let him who has ears HEAR!  See, God already addressed all this in what I shared... the dream being that this person was like the coach... trying to discredit and rob me from racing based on a technicality, and prevent me from going higher to resolve it.  And with the vision... He's saying it's about the heart. It's an individual thing.  Guess what, HE knows my nickname!!!!  And guess what, if we discredit our foundation, what are we built upon?  God says this name thing is a run to a fro chase after the wind!

So let me elaborate the hearing process...
I didn't run off to that website, because I could feel in my spirit that something about this wasn't kosher (the Holy Spirit began to churn).  So basically, I asked God FIRST. Then, after asking... the listening begins. A thought entered my mind of a poster a friend gave me that has many names based on attributes of God--- many names, not one. Then the next thought was God speaking to Moses and presenting Himself as 'I AM' through the burning bush.  Can you see how the dream, the vision, the feeling or impression within my spirit & the thoughts are all building to a conclusion here?  This is a great example of how God can speak.  And note it's on many levels.

Sometimes when I'm really not sure of something, and have been crying out... I apologize, "God, I'm sorry if I missed you, could you please say it again, say it louder... or give me the patience I need to hear You out?

I'll give you another experience, and this is regarding hearing a song playing in my head over the course of a few days.  This is an example where I wasn't asking God anything, but God was telling me something.

So I'm getting this song and it's disturbing because it's saying I'm in danger and it's with someone I haven't talked to in a while.  So BAM BAM... suddenly 3 different people show up in my life that I hadn't talked to in a while; one of them even as long as in 8 years!

Now you know we are not to feed our pearls to swine... (Mat 7:6) but on the same token... we can screw up a whole heck of a lot if we jump the gun and don't wait on God for His full answer.  In this situation can you see there are some talents or some treasure of the kingdom to be earned here?  To what honor and length will I go in pursuing His voice? Yes, part of this is a test.  My natural man wants to ignore all three people or probe them to try and find answers by my own power.

One of the people said "Hey I can come over sometime with my friend"... and the Lord had shown me 6 months ago that this friend is bad news.  So oh, is it this person?  The one I hadn't seen in 8 years... and have a lot of catching up to do... is it this one?

If I would allow fear to enter in, instead of patiently waiting upon His next release of information... I could really destroy some relationships here. Instead I continued to seek Him.  I prayed for each of these people, and then when the telling circumstance came up... again, I felt that disquiet in my spirit the Holy Spirit rising up again..., THEN I knew exactly  which person it was and what the 'danger' was about.  Then I found myself so happy like my friend from so long ago that was all happy about asking God about eating or taking a nap!  Jesus, Adonai, El Shaddai, I AM... whatever nickname God has shared with you... HE knows what's to come, and He's always there speaking to us.  We just need to listen.

Battlefield of the Mind - Discerning Thoughts

The Lord is leading me into a focus on the battlefield of the mind-- the final frontier...
In 2Corinthians 10:3 we read, "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh."

If more people could pin the tail on the real donkey and understand why Jesus exclaimed "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do"... mankind is under the prince and power of the air's influence.  As seekers of God, it is important to seek the difference in that man can activate thoughts by God or the enemy into the flesh.  One brings forth the Kingdom of God, and one aligns with the accuser of the brethren.

Let me back this up though because my heart is to exhort and teach believers, but why not include even a person that is in denial about God?  A person that says... "I looked for God but He never showed up"?  Wow, that's the best and most noticeable situation to be in... IF you are sincerely looking for answers.   The devil doesn't want you to make a decision for Jesus... perhaps all the other times you looked, the devil cleverly talked you out of how God was answering your prayers or speaking to you.  Now is the time to Pay Attention to your thought life.

After I went through a generational deliverance session... I was amazed how quiet my noggin was!  I used to have tons of thoughts always racing through my mind... always judging others... constant daydreams playing our scenarios of 'what to do next' or 'what should I have done' in past situations.  I hadn't realized how scatterbrained I had been... how much overtime my mind was doing, processing so many things at once.

Some time after I renounced all the sins that granted all that extra chatter in my head via the sins of my forefathers...  I was viewing an online exhibition of Tibetan artwork.  I was viewing the most horrid multi-armed, fang-faced, knife-wielding, blood-thirsty statue and I heard.... "Oh, it's beautiful" in my head.  HELLO... not my thought... no way.... no how!

I encourage you to get scientific in your pursuit about discerning your thought life.  Even those of you that have received Jesus as Lord and Savior...   do what the scripture says about holding everything captive.  (2Corinthians 10:5-6 “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”)  Go through one day with a hand-held recorder and speak these random thoughts & then by the end of the day you'll be able to identify what you know was You... vs. what was maybe a lightening bolt kind of thought that popped into your head and you are unsure.  Then consider the thought. If you have premonitions about things... know that the enemy could be sending those as well... that is a grey area the enemy likes to use as counterfeiting the prophetic in Yeshua.  I want to bring that up so you don't end up as operating as a psychic.  If you are seeking a relationship with Jesus above all else, He will keep you.... if you seek after hidden knowledge apart from Jesus and not inquiring with Him... you've got an open door for receiving information from familiar spirits, i.e. demons.

Obvious thoughts..... you will find blatant judgmental thoughts, crude thoughts, perverse ones....(Mark 7:22, Romans 1:29)  These thoughts oppose God... these are not you... these are the dead-ringers, the give-a-ways to the enemies devises.  You can agree with these thoughts and make them your own.  You can come into agreement with these thoughts and if a sin is welcome in your spirit...you'll always think it's you.  Ever agreed that you're ugly?  This is not from you... God says 'you were fearfully and wonderfully made' (Psalm 139:14) --and guess what, He's not a liar.

If a thought has birthed an action into sin by you and you find you have no conscience that it is contrary to God... it's because you have embraced it.  If you have embraced it but feel bad about it from time to time... consider the Holy Spirit is trying to drag you out of that pit you've dug for yourself.  The enemy does not like to be exposed... if you do not feel complete freedom in this supposed sin, if you have shame... look up, Jesus loves you, and you can be free.  If you can begin to say (Rom 7:15 ) "I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do"....and then monitor yourself, you'll begin to see the war that is going on in your mind.

One of the biggest mind-trips the enemy does is in getting you to birth sin from that initial thought.  Then, condemns you into thinking there is no forgiveness, no escape from that pit.  And this is where overcomers shine...  when that condemning thought enters your mind, when that sinful thought enters in.... an overcomer is one that recognizes the source, takes it captive saying "devil, I know it's you!" --- believing the word of God you speak, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." -- or scripture of your choice.   Binding that thought, command it to the pit, or the footstool of Jesus, and speak the opposite of what the devil was pushing in that thought from the word of God.... using that sharp sword.  Example:  The devil says "You remember last week you were so rotten... you screwed up so many times... you don't learn from your mistakes... you're just a hypocrite...", and on and on.  RIGHT THERE is the doorway... what are you going to do with that thought?  Well let me tell you... you recall the scriptures and target it just like Jesus used the Word of God against satan in the desert.  You say, "excuse me devil... if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for my sins" (1John 2:1-2).   If you get attacked with a sexual thought.... "no devil, my body is a temple of the Holy Spirit."  Are you seeing how to take captive and combat?  The Word of God is our foundation... you seek it, you read it, you implement it and it builds every part of the  armor of God (Eph 6:11).

So I've kind of transitioned over to discerning thoughts for the believer in Jesus, but I want to say, there are many christians out there that receive Jesus but do not understand the importance of paying attention to our thought life.  They think receiving Jesus is enough and allow these terrible thoughts to manifest as terrible sins against fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord.

The biggest warning I have is that the devil will put in your mind a spirit of self-justification.  This is a 'religious spirit'.  Remember keep your friends close, but your enemies closer?  Well a religious spirit is one that twists the Word of God... like Eve dealt with in the Garden.  The base of it is spiritual... the enemy latches on to your bad self and gets you to justify the sin.  Gossip goes unheeded on our radars because... 'oh, that person is sinning-- it's okay to EXpose sin'.  Backbiting goes unheeded BEcause... 'they didn't return my book, therefore they aren't a person of their word'.  Attack of character based on doctrinal belief differences.... 'because after all, if you don't believe what I do, you must be a damned sinner because I know God talks to me, so you must be listening to the devil...'  This is the most dangerous stuff to entertain because christians open up their hearts to other christians and the wounds can be so deep as believers attack other believers.... the devil's favorite weapon of choice.... the same spirit that killed Jesus.

[prayer]

If you have a negative thought of a brother or sister in the Lord... if during this teaching your head has been a bed of mumbles railing against me... just stop & see it for what it is.  Stop and pray for that person... you are having those thoughts because the enemy wants to use you as a weapon.  The devil doesn't want you to free... doesn't want you to be an overcomer... c'mon and prove him eternally wrong!

Damn! God won't be Boxed! Part 3

I get so upset when I come across people that judge and condemn whole church people groups and call them 'of the devil', deceived or lost. True it may be that the head of that church is in a downward spiral with misguided ecumenism that invites the enemy in OR, a church that completely rejects the giftings of the spirit. The fact of the matter is, is that God is calling us all individually. He's calling us ALL out and all to go on higher in Him. He doesn't see the divisions.

Let me read a little of the good book to illustrate:
Mat 24:40-42 "Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two [women shall be] grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come."

And what about the scripture of the wheat and the tares? Everything is growing right alongside each other.

Can you see that only He can see into our hearts? He doesn't say this denomination is better then this other one. All He says is "good and faithful servant" or "away, I never knew you". It's either you pass or you fail on an individual basis. Does He distinguish between the Samaritan or the little child? Who are we to play judge? Shouldn't we be minding our own hearts... and perhaps trembling at that?

Who are we to decide his plan and purposes, His ways, His messengers, His moves? Why should we care if he pays those hired in the eleventh hour the same as those hired the first?

When we as individuals judge denominations or past moves of God etc. we #1. alienate ourselves from reaching people in those groups. I mean really... is anyone going to listen to you after you call them damned? Really? #2. It is true something might have gone bad and true we would never support such a thing in it's current state but what if at one time it wasn't bad.... if we blatantly damn the whole thing we void everything good that God had done within it. And what about the people that lacked the discernment to know when the tide had changed? Those people that had a taste of God doing that new thing in power, in demonstration. And now they too are damned and by this judgement their faith is ruined. Why would we want to do that when we can reach them by agreeing with the good and separating out the bad? Can we walk into a room and be a light? Jesus wants us to be a light, not an idiot blinding furnace that burns everything up in our wake. There are hungry people in all denominations and the lost as well... they are all seeking Him. He wants us to be sowers, waterers, that light... a sign that points the way to Him.

This inherent judgement... you know what I'm talking about. Everybody seems to be on the damning the catholics roadshow lately... or damn the charismatics... how about Toronto... how about Todd Bentley? The thing we need to realize is that when God breaks through to do a new thing, it is then attacked by the enemy until it is discredited or stopped.... or peters out. Or, it goes down because of unpurified flesh or when the next new thing wants to springboard from it, but man is too comfortable or fearful and won't go there. But how foolish are any of us to throw the baby out with the bath water?

With more given, more is required....if you wanna fly you have to cut off the sandbags.... and when they are not purified and snipped off... then that's when a minister or move of God goes down. God cannot be represented with a garment of stains. But the real question is, is can we ever learn from our mistakes???

Do you wonder why we have to keep starting all over again? We can't seem to Prove all things; and hold fast that which is good. (1 Thessalonians 5:21) Can we take the good and build on it instead of throwing the entire thing out? Can we go back and discern that fresh new thing that God was doing from the point that it got tainted by the flesh?

And what about the people? Does anyone care about the souls involved here?

I want to speak to the broken and wounded here...Have you tasted God doing a new thing and the enemy jumped in and the flesh destroyed it? Do you suddenly feel a bullseye on your back? Is your faith in danger of shipwreck? Stand with me on the outside and see the enemy's strategy... see what is really going on and now see that Jesus, is the best mediator between God & man. Take that which was good and now build upon it, with your head held high, because you serve the King of Kings & Lord of Lords, the Messiah-- Jesus.

Right now I just want to pray for you... and for those of you (myself included) that have ever sat in judgement against our brothers and sisters in Christ... let us ask for forgiveness right now.

(prayer)

Ask God to build upon that foundation and to heal your wounds realizing that He is working all things to the good on your behalf.

God won't be Boxed! Part 2

Just because a person doesn't go to a 4 walled church doesn't mean they are not under a God ordained Pastor or in communion with teachers He sends etc.  That's the key though, whom HE sends.  God ordains position, not man. Somehow Jesus went all over with His disciples and He had them doing 'church' together, as opposed to being bound by the temple which had corrupted leadership, fleshly teaching and money as the focus.  (Funny, not much different today...)

God will not be boxed, nor those that trust in Him.

In John 10:9 Jesus says, "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture."  Let me elaborate...  first we go through the door of Jesus unto salvation...but then it says "...shall go IN and OUT, and find pasture."   See that freedom there?

Be open to whom God would send you...

In my early spirit-filled days the Lord would always put the oddest people in my life that held the anointing.  I remember the first one... he stuttered, was blunt & teased too much & seemed like a lack of mental physical development was in his bloodline.   But I'd go to prayer meeting and in him I'd see this light switch turn on & it's like he wasn't there...it was God sitting there speaking to me.  I honored this man as a vessel of God-- I knew he was plugged into God & it was amazing--- he'd always reiterate, "Look who God can use!"   But having drug my dad along with me to those meetings...we'd go home & I'd have to listen to my dad & then other members of the family make fun of this man of God & not 'get it'...all they remembered was when the light switch was off.

Then another was an obese woman-- again... that light switch... it was HIM...it was so wonderful....I served her in any capacity-- just excited for the next time HE showed up thru her.

My point is to view everything in the spirit, NOT under the heavy hand of the flesh.  The age thing, the look or any of that physical stuff... degrees, diplomas mean nothing to me.  Poor quality video or audio means nothing to me.... obedience is everything and His mark on a person's life is what I listen to.  I've prayed over people  that were ordained pastors, but that's not whom God said that person was. It kind of hurt to pray for them because they were shoving themselves in their own box.

Can my words smack you around a little bit?  Really?  How often are we even entertaining angels unawares?  Wake up spirit-man and pay attention with this ((heart)).  Delay this ((mouth)).

Let me get back to John 10:9 "...shall go in and out and find pasture."  How many times have you heard that God will save those from their sin and then one day they return to be a light in that darkness they once partook in?  In whatever degree that would be... your testimony of salvation needs to be out there people!  So let me encourage you, YOU need to be testifying...

(Revelation 12:11 "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.")

And now I want to get to expounding upon freedom...

Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Did you hear that... ALL THINGS.  In and out of pasture.  This is only going to become unbalanced and not work if you quit earnestly seeking God with a repentant heart.   Why are some things sin to one but not to another?  Because one is like flint in the world and another a sponge.  Know yourself... talk to Him.... if you have to baton down the hatches in areas do so, but do not hinder others by preaching a box mentality.  Part of that is fear, there is fear attached to that mentality.

True... things can have an evil spirit behind it....it's blatantly obvious that 'Highway to hell' isn't a wholesome bit.  But, have you looked at all the grey area out there in the world?   Are we missing out on what the one true God is saying or ways to reach unbelievers because of being programmed with religious lies that have a root in an evil religious spirit-- the same one that killed Jesus?  Where is the ministry of "meet them where they are at"?

I've had a song playing in my head the past two days that isn't a christian song.... in fact, I really didn't know the lyrics or the title to the song and I really didn't even know the words LOL, so I had to research until I could find it.  When I did I got a little choked up because I then realized He was singing me a love song.  He was telling me the little things He has me do is making a difference to change the world and He was telling me that His home is in my heart & with every beat we're closer.  Oh, God, did I need to hear that?  Of course I did... how easily I could've missed that by dismissing it?  We really have to tune in to God because He’s speaking to us EvErYwHeRe.

God uses everything to convey His messages, who are we to decide his plan and purposes?  Why should we care if he pays those hired in the eleventh hour the same as those hired the first?  Whose to say that God will not use the wicked to bring about His purposes.... what old testament battle should I bring up as an example here?  The thing you need to hear is that God-will-not-be-boxed!

God won't be Boxed! Part 1

You ever hear about occult members going into institutional church and doing witchcraft?  Worshipping alongside of believers in Jesus, saying the prayers but focusing on their little 'g' god?  Makes you wonder doesn't it, how do christians give such credence to the enemy's followers who infiltrate the church, but what does the church do?   It retreats to it's box and believes anything outside of the box is bad.  That sure sounds like a recipe for realllllly missing God to me.  In fact...doesn't it only take one bad thing to fart in the box and taint and leaven the whole batch?

What makes a thing 'good' or 'bad'?  If the occult person is focusing on their little 'g' god in a christian church environment... pulling on that love around them & going in the complete opposite direction... does that show you the power all humanity possesses by what we choose to empower in the mind?  The most successful 'positive thinking programs' out there use all the precepts in the bible but devoid of honoring or recognizing Jesus.
(Jhn 10:1"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber.)

See here poses the problem... the Word of God does not return void.... it's true whether it's for the believer in Jesus or if it's only a salad bar for the unbeliever.  The Word of God contains the keys to life.

Of course... you know these occult people can only bear evil fruit in a place that is devoid of worship in Spirit and truth... if they enter in amongst those borne of Spirit and truth, they get exposed and many so overwhelmed they find the encounter with the power of the One true God a life-changing one, one way or the other!

But what about the churches that are not spirit-filled?

I have an interesting testimony... in that part of it was being led out of institutionalized church into a setting that reflects more of what the disciples experienced as a home-church setting.  Of course anyone I share this with looks down upon me and my family and see it as a forsaking unity with the brethren etc., but God says 2 or 3 gathered... it's not quantity but quality in true unity aligned with His purposes (we currently have been led back into a church setting... just following where He leads!)

I want to share a bit of background that led up to this decision...

There was a lot of seeking God going on in a small group setting that we met with weekly, apart from institutional church.  Through this group, both my husband and I went through a thing called 'generational deliverance', whereby we cancelled any curses passed onto us by our forefathers and we also shut doors that we had opened up ourselves, that let us open to attack from the enemy.  Our spiritual eyes became opened and we plunged into a deeper union  with Jesus as all those generational voices became silenced... we could Hear the voice of God clearer.  We began to have dreams, see visions, seeing the presence of spirits, whether good or bad and move prophetically.  Then the dichotomy began...

As God began to give us revelation, we began to share things with our church Pastor, which were politely-smile rejected.  Then the church services became more of a warfare session then a place of fellowship and celebrating Jesus.  Being spirit-filled... the darkness began to manifest.  We'd be sitting in the pew and all the sudden I'd feel a burden to pray and be internally praying in tongues in the service and afterwards my husband asked me if I could see what he saw in the pew in front of us during the service.  When I had been praying, he was actually seeing and confronting a spirit of death upon the person in front of us.

In the following weeks during holiday celebrations the lights would mysteriously blink and the speaker system would also be on the fritz.  As we would pray my husband would see angels come in and flashes of light in an unseen battle.

At first I was adamant that we should stay there and fight every week on behalf of the people, but week after week and church not being the sanctuary it is supposed to be, the Lord showed us that we did what we could by going to the pastor... and because he is the head of the church, nothing can go higher then his authority.  Because he rejected what we brought forth (and likely-- we were called out by the crying out of people in the church), it lies upon his head, not ours.  It is then up to God to disperse the people that are crying out, from under this ceiling of spiritual bondage.

The Lord led us to do the unthinkable... leave institutional church...  try to explain that one.... already we can't tell people all we were seeing in the spirit going on in church... the pastor rejects us and now people equate 'no church to falling away entirely from God'!  This is not fun stuff here!  The biggest attacking we get is that "Oh, you're not in a church... that's not right, God has ordained an order to 'church' of submission under pastors, teachers, apostles, prophets etc...".  But what those people don't know is that God places those relationships and that order into our life.  If you think a seminary certificate is the only way God is going to work--- whoooops, just missed Him!

Stay tuned... I'm going to add on to this train of thought in the next episode of hearingGod.
