Strongholds Edu - Spiritual Housecleaning

Do you have unsettling sinful habits, weaknesses, torments, recurring bad fruit character flaws? I'm not talking about big things like murder or adultery… I'm talking about areas in your life, in your thought patterns that keep you barreling like a hamster in it's wheel instead of exhibiting Galatians 5 victory?
Spiritual Housecleaning is a series I'm doing to help expose all those dark, dirty little things that the enemy would rather you think is just a normal struggle in your life.
You're here because you know there's abundant life, you've tasted it… but a taste just won't do… you want to live it!

Hi Freedom 1 here, with a little video crash course illustration about enemy access that ties us up from conforming into the image of Christ Jesus. I'll show how we get on the brink of agreeing with the devil… how to overcome when the pressure is on, what happens when we blow it and how the sins of our forefathers haunt us and wear us down.

In 2 Corinthians 10:4&5 NAS we read, "…for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ." Other versions call those 'fortresses' - 'strongholds', and that's what we're talking about here.

In Mark 3:27 is the ever popular illustration that perhaps we've read and agreed with but never thought about in terms of those recurring troubles we have, that the Word says we shouldn't.

I'll begin to flesh it out with our character Mr. Bitter as he's active on the job-site… later we'll send in an interviewer as well… Roll the Spirit-Cam!

FILM PARODY SEQUENCE

INTERVIEW SEQUENCE

*Note: Generational curses or sins of the father…. wear us down, because they have legal access to do so. The generational ties…. let's face it, it's like chinese water torture…. just always there nagging…. those thoughts, those voices in the head. Remember in 2 Corinthians 10:5? ["Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ." ] This is not only talking about what our human minds come up with, but who else can influence our mind with those nagging 'voices' those contrary thoughts?

It's so simple though… appropriate what Jesus did…. and be done with it!

But I don't know everything about my ancestor back 4 generations ago…. you say…. well, we'll save that for another video.

Recap…. how do we get a stronghold?
• Blatant unrepentant sin all by ourselves.
• If we agree with ANY lie…. we create a door.

Journey along with me in this series of Spiritual Housecleaning as we learn to dismantle every work of the enemy in our lives and be equipped to stop these cycles cold in our lives and all those around us, so that we can truly be free, FREE INDEED!

Scriptures used in sequences:
Ephesians 4:31
James 4:7
Numbers 14:18
Exodus 20:5
Deuteronomy 5:9
Leviticus 26:39-40

Spiritual Housecleaning Part 1

'Spiritual house-cleaning' is the process of freedom from demonic oppression. When we are examining ourselves… find bad habits, bad fruit, evidence of unrepentant sin and we begin to cry out earnestly with desire to not only overcome, but to change at all costs… doors of access begin to shut. Deliverance begins to happen.

When I began down this path of deep self examination… I realized that I ‘had issues’. In reading the Word of God and comparing my ‘Walk’ along-side of it... things weren’t adding up. I found myself identifying oh--too--well, with Saint Paul’s lament in Romans 7:15, “For what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate.”

I found myself needing a deliverer because try as I might.... I still had my issues (I still HAVE issues!) despite doing and saying ‘all the right things’. Despite all the heartfelt repentance, forgiveness and reading the Word! The Lord showed me in the scriptures…. Moses delivered the Israelites from the hand of Pharaoh…. we can liken that to what takes place when we receive Jesus as Lord. But were the Israelites completely free after that point? No… what happened? They succumbed to influences and what were the roots of those thoughts that turn to action? Ask yourself… was there a root spirit of bondage, of fear, of distrust…. and you can go on & on deeper into this meditation in seeing they had those same things before the exodus.

The fact of the matter is, is that walking out your salvation is an understatement to it's true meaning church. There are a great many words that have changed meaning these days.

Why is the word ‘Deliverance’ a dark and dirty word that society has programmed us into believing that is a rare necessity only for little levitating girls with spinning heads, foaming & cursing mouth manifestations? Maybe because ‘Possession’ is a dark and dirty word that is often associated with it.

In Chris Simpson’s guide entitled: Deliverance from Evil Spirits, a recommended read (link below), I found this interesting tidbit… Did you know...:

“In the New Testament, the Greek word expressing the presence of demonic spirits within people is daimonizomai (Die-mon-nye-zom-my). What this word means is to be demonized; to be under the power or influence of a demon in certain areas; to have a demon. In the King James Version of the Bible this particular Greek word is translated 11 times as “to be possessed with devils.” The word “possessed,” however, is a mislead-ing translation for this Greek word. To English speaking people the term “possessed” implies total ownership of something. This concept, when applied to the relationship between a demonic entity and a person, has no support in the scripture or in the original intent of the Greek word. There is no suggestion in the scripture that a demon has totally taken over a person as the word “possessed” implies. Even the Gaderene demoniac had enough humanity to cry out to Jesus for help. Rather, close scriptural study shows that the effect of demons upon people was usually in one or more areas of the personality - not the whole person.”

Does the thought of demonic access set well in comparison with what the ‘church’ has programmed us with? Of course not. The devil is always making us do something... but we have no part in it whatsoever, “Why, that sneaky devil just came outta nowhere, no one is safe”. No, that's a Wrong mentality, that gives the devil power and lessens the power of God. Or how about “We’re all sinners with no good in us”; Wrong. God Justifies us through Christ & uses us in the plan of salvation.

When you’ve tried everything to no avail... full-well knowing that God is good.... maybe it’s time to take seriously that ‘every penny must be paid for’...

Matthew 18:33-35 "Should you not also have had mercy on your fellow slave, even as I had mercy on you? And his lord, moved with anger, handed him over to the torturers until he should repay all that was owed him. So shall My heavenly Father also do to you, Peter, if each of you does not forgive his brother from your heart."

Suddenly, it makes sense-- because we realize that the Word of God IS very true despite man’s desire to pick and choose based on the pride in the mind or fleshly desires. Sin opens us up to satan. The price for sin is the atoning blood of Jesus. The glaring 'issues' we have… the ones that echo Paul's Lament in Romans 7:15… the diseases, the repetition of failure in our lives point to areas of access.

The bridge of Sanctification is a marvelous structure that ‘Deliverance’ steadily ropes us across. Even the smallest of undesirable fruit is not welcome in the offering of our very selves unto the Lord.

This is some hard stuff and I will be addressing it because this term 'Deliverance' and the concept of 'Spiritual Housecleaning' is very broad. Some of the 'issues' we deal with… we have no understanding where they have come from and why we can't seem to break free…. those point to Generational Curses (sins of forefathers) Soul Ties, and Curses (whether self induced or by others) in general. This doesn't seem fair, but it's in the Word and if you have these 'issues'… diving in to understand the 'Why' will help you overcome.

Another hard area is that the enemy is attracted to pain, just like an open wound in the ocean attracts sharks…. so areas of wounding or trauma…. which aren't even sins we have committed also give a doorway for the enemy to frequent in our lives. How do we heal the wound? This is stuff I'm going to touch on later in this series.

Salvation and the Wedding Garment

I had a person ask me a very frank question…

"I can't reconcile salvation with the wedding garment. Is there such a thing as eternal security?"

Matthew 7:21-23a begins to churn in the brain and we begin to become worried, "Am I even saved?"

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.

Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you..'"

If this is you, let's put this issue to rest!

Truly, this one of those mental battles that everyone deals with at one time or another in their Christian walk. But I assure you that you can know that you are saved and on the right path if you have an active relationship with Jesus; whom gives us many parables in the bible to help flesh out the path set before us.

The wedding garment is our conforming to christ.... our diligence to being holy and righteous. All day long we can say this or that.... but if we do not move past being a 'hearer' only....into being a 'doer' as well... we are not putting on the attire we need for the banquet. The wedding garment is tied into the condition of our heart.

And this is easy to understand if we also turn it into a parable....

John says, "Will you marry me, Martha?"

"Yes John," she says and she slips the ring onto her finger.

She has the appearance of betrothal doesn't she?-- But Martha continues to act as though she is single...she meets other guys at the coffee house etc. She shows no respect for the commitment she's made.

God has told us everything we need to know....He's given us everything.... His Spirit in our hearts to convict us as well.... there's really no excuse.

So let's fast forward to the wedding day.... will John take Martha's hand? Will she even remember to show up? The commitment was made, but she didn't honor it by changing her lifestyle to fit it. The groom will not marry a whore.... He cannot look upon her. Traditionally, an engagement lasts 6 months…..in all that time, she did not get ready....she did not change!

Martha would honor John by going beyond wearing the ring (claiming salvation) into behaving as a bride... but as it stands now….we need to start at Matthew 7:20 for the full context:

"So then, you will know them by their fruits."

To begin to conform to His image we must understand and trust what the Lord says about Salvation within the Holy Scriptures. The Word is our measuring rod.

If you begin to dig in and study, you begin to note a theme that 'we are not perfect and His sacrifice has redeemed us'. If we are examining ourselves --learning the Word and what it is to become the likeness of Jesus.... we are getting ready. What Jesus did is the free gift... but we show our love and commitment by honoring Him through our life. We begin to not only recognize that we need a Savior, but clearly, we must be born again. Have you assumed that in receiving Jesus as Lord that you have automatically received the baptism in the Holy Spirit?

No, you have to ask.

I would like to encourage you to watch Derek Prince's teaching on Receiving the Holy Spirit in it's entirety so that you can clearly see what the scriptures say.

But you say…. "What about if Martha tries and tries, but she just didn't try hard enough, she just wasn't as attentive as she could have been, and she never got completely cleaned up in time?"

As a believer it is healthy to be concerned by our sin, but not in by being overwhelmed by our shortcomings. As we know, they are many! We cannot beat ourselves up over the lifelong process-- we are not perfect.

In the example I've given, it clearly shows that Martha has NOT given John her heart and exhibits that by her bad fruit.

So to further this, 'what is commitment' theme, let me share about being married....

I can say that over and over my spouse and I have issues that arise... we disappoint each other... are not thoughtful at times.... we are not perfect....but we ALWAYS reconcile.... always forgive and pick right back up where we've left off. With Jesus, mind you... he is ever faithful .... it is us that must humble ourselves and return to pick back up where we've deviated the path.

With my marriage, though little struggles happen, we never go so far as to abandon our covenant in unfaithfulness, or abandon our children.... we do not deliberately hurt each other.... to do so would be bearing 'bad fruit'... that would compare to Martha's whoredom. That kind of fruit would prove a heart that has not changed... not committed... does not truly love.

In Spiderman 3…. Spiderman makes a very bad decision. He encourages the girl at the rally to kiss him because the crowd is shouting 'kiss her' oblivious that, 'that kiss' was only for him and Mary Jane. There is no amount of saying, "She's just a girl in my class."(like he had done in a previous movie) They were dating and he crossed a line that damaged their relationship.

Later, he repented and relationship was restored.... but what we need to be wary of is either not repenting and/or not changing. If he'd continue to do stunts like this, Mary Jane would see the fruit that, he was all talk & didn't really love her.... this goes the same with God.

We do 'screw up'.... look at the life of David whom had 'a heart after God' [Acts 13:22]…. he made some really bad mistakes, but he repented and then did not fall and do those same big sins again. To really appreciate what it is to screw up big but then have a heart after God, check out Psalm 51. It is David's very cry and return to the Lord from a bout of grievous sins including covetousness, adultery, deceit and murder.

Psa 51:11-12 "Do not cast me away from Your presence And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit."

God used the Prophet Nathan to speak a PaRaBle to David to open his eyes to the inevitable drift and rift that blinding sin had caused in his relationship with Father God.

However, those sins still carried the responsibility for transgressing.

2Sa 12:10a “Now therefore, the sword shall never depart from your house…"

We are warned in advance not stray in the first place! This is the fair and Just God we serve, else people would be more prone to willfully sin knowing a magic pill would take all the bad away as soon as they repent.

Galatians 6:7 "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.”

Past bad choices still bear a harvest time. Though we are forgiven we can't expect what we've sown to disappear....no, what we sow, we shall still reap.... but we can be forgiven and on the path to a pure, clean wedding day. Ask any newly born again Christian in a jail cell! Now that's HOPE!

Don't doubt your salvation because you're in a rough place that you created. God WILL work all things to the good on your behalf...

Rom 8:28 "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."

...but like David we need to 'man up'… clinging to His mercy, but accepting the rippling consequences that sin has in this life.

[2Sa 12:22-23 "He said, "While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, 'Who knows, the LORD may be gracious to me, that the child may live.' But now he has died; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me." ]

As you know… our sins welcome attack from the accuser of the brethren. Learn something from David though… throughout the Psalms he often sings the Praise-- the character-- the attributes of God, and later Jesus quotes the truth about God as well. If you've made some big screw-ups, of course the enemy will try to rob you of your free gift of salvation. Ironic that oftentimes the first place we should be looking in overcoming-- taking any thoughts captive that oppose the truth and simplicity of salvation-- is the last thing on our minds. In this life we don't deal with flesh however. If we care about offending God, we are on the right track, but if we beat ourselves up about it guess who oppresses and robs and steals etc. See the real enemy….bind any spirits of doubt and loose our tongue like David--- like Jesus to speak the Truth of God, the Faithfulness of God to His promises-- our effective sword in the spirit.

We do mess up at times but our path must contain forward motion. By our fruits we are known [Mat 7:16, Mat 7:20]. As a professing believer in Jesus we must be a doer and not a hearer only [Jam 1:23-26]. It is true that we cannot blame everything upon the devil because of our other enemy… 'our flesh'.

Our flesh must be made our 'slave' [1 Corinthians 9:25-27].

Have you ever looked at a memory chip before? If you look at the strips of metal on one in your camera you see evidence of a worn path. There are habits, there are people that are bad influences that we might have soul ties with… we might have negative expectations, soul wounds, forgiveness to be displayed… let's face it… when we really lay out our wedding garment and scrutinize we must realize that part of our walk is a process and we cannot expect it to happen overnight. God will in-fact, use this process of purification to prove us.

Hbr 12:6 "FOR THOSE WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE DISCIPLINES, AND HE SCOURGES EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVES."

Again, we cannot allow the enemy to come in and condemn us, but it is our responsibility to press into God as we wage war with the flesh, so that we can conform to the wedding attire that will be proper at the banquet.

An example:

If I speak an offensive expletive, it is not good.... it's something i need to work on in being holy and it takes time... but I have not rejected God by doing so. I feel the conviction of the Holy Spirit.... I may still curse, but OVER TIME, I do so less and less because it is my desire to please the Lord and be Holy. I may have to choose to keep away from people that harbor an environment where filthy talk is welcomed.

Conversely, let me show an example of outright rejecting God... let's say a Christian KNOWS that Islam is a false religion, but a cute girl has invited this guy to an Islamic function known to honor allah...and the guy accepts only because he wants to date the girl. See the difference between these examples? The second ignores the prior covenant entirely-- is willing to abandon God's commands of not having anything to do with foreign Gods. It is true that he can repent and 'about-face', but It's likened to that 'Mary Jane kiss', it needs to happen quickly, not something that keeps going and going, because like Nathan having to give David a parable, continued sin deafens our ears to the voice of God.

Romans 1:28, 32

"And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper..."

"...and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them."

When it comes down to it, we can see that 'salvation' is simple, --believe what God says about it. Then grow in relationship by reading the Word of God and seeking more than a 'honk if you love Jesus' bumper sticker on your car. No, in a committed relationship, you don't just 'look' like you know Him… you take Him with you!

Deliverance - Spiritual Housecleaning

Freedom 1 here and now we're finally to the subject of deliverance, and now I'm going to tell you everything….

I know I've kept you waiting long enough, but what we've been doing here is what I like to call 'responsible deliverance'. In every age, when God does a new thing, we have to understand that we all as a church body are given a new 'talent' or 'new revelation' of the Kingdom of God…. and then we have to take what we are given and then bring forth more. We cannot hang onto the old thing and bury it in the ground; we must launch forth from that revelation into the next.

The problem with humans is that we get lazy and begin to go after the 'pill' or the formula instead of meeting with the doctor (Jesus). We like to slam some money down and have someone do everything for us, so we don't have to be real with our own sin.
1Samuel 8:7 The LORD said to Samuel, "Listen to the voice of the people in regard to all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from being king over them."
Deliverance will work as it's performed, but the 'why' isn't taught like it should be.... sheep are not cared for like they should be.... and the people perish for lack of knowledge, as the demons come back, the struggle is even harder because now their faith is bruised because the 'King' they set up over themselves did not fix their problem.
Mat 12:45a "Then it goes and takes along with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first…"
I hope you paid attention to the last video in the series, A Testimony of Deliverance, Derek Prince - Spiritual Housecleaning. Derek's deliverance prayer was very simple:

Reenactment of prayer:

"Lord, You've shown me that I have been oppressed by a spirit of heaviness, but You have promised in Your Word that if I call on Your name, I shall be delivered. So I'm calling on You now to deliver me, in the name of Jesus!"

It is important to note, Derek was a minister in a denomination that didn't do 'deliverance'. He spent his time examining himself, and in seeing that he wasn't aligning with the Word, he cried out. In crying out, God revealed to him the problem, and then Derek clung to the Word of God.

It comes back to childlike simplicity… because we're not under a law, we're IN a relationship.
Luke 18:17 "Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all."
Kids love to solve a 'mystery'… so like a child, I hope you've gone through all the videos in the series to uncover the sources of access. Doing it this way (the long way) helps you identify what all you are dealing with and the 'why'--- which is very important for being sure we hit alllll the associated spirits that deliverance lines at the local church may not get because there's no time to really spend time with a person & also for staying clean. When we can 'know' the root of something--- that's a big deal.... being able to identify our weaknesses so we can spot and halt when things try to come back & to identify so we can use the sword of the spirit to actually FIGHT=== that's just priceless! We're also teaching ourselves what to look for etc. so that we'll be empowered to help others. Did you really think you're going to stop with just yourself??

So let me share what i did. Remember the list of papers I wrote out? These being based on everything I've uncovered in identifying strongholds in my life.

Repent. Revoke. Replace...

Remember I touched on this in the video entitled: Negative Confessions, Inner Vows & Curses - Spiritual Housecleaning, and if you need a refresher, go there and review the 'descriptions' for the prayers. You repented, you revoked and cancelled the demon's assignment in your life and then you began to loosen the soil by using the Word of God to counter the demon's assignment. So, in deliverance we go one step farther.

I shared how Derek Prince got his freedom… I'll share what I did… but remember, in the end you have take what bears in your own spirit and with what you know in the Word.

I Address by Name…

Reenactment of Prayer:

"Spirit of Heaviness, I am speaking to you. You are no longer welcome here in this vessel of honor. The blood of Jesus stands against you. I bind you in the name of Jesus and command you to go to the footstool of Jesus Christ."

Feeling Opposition…

If you have a stirring in your spirit, affirm who you are in Jesus by using scriptures that are the opposite of the demon's assignment (this is something you can make a conscious effort to do in advance), and then any other proclamations of your freedom are in line. If you have visions of strands or chords, cut them…. remember to pay attention to your spiritual radar in this battle. Continue to command the demon to go.

Pushing it Out…

As they come out you may feel them leaving.

Remember in the video: "Recognizing 'spirits' and Dealing with Them"--- the 'flash' of the demon I recognized as 'fierce'? That one came out of me producing hard, deep hiccups, and it felt like my heart was being jump-started.

Yawning and/or coughing is very common.

There was one I recall, where my eyes felt strange for a moment and then I felt the Holy Spirit pour back into my belly… so in that instance I realized that it left via my eyes. Some people have felt them exit the fingertips or toes… I have not, nor have I screamed, manifested a weird voice or vomited… those occurrences, you've probably heard about in group 'deliverance sessions'… I don't know what to tell you if you are doing deliverance upon yourself, but prepare and remember what you bind is bound. Some people say that you should cough to help dislodge the demon and push it out of your system… I don't know if that really makes a difference or not, but I thought I'd bring that up for your discernment…. so anyways, whatever the case….call the shots, because you have authority to do so.

Impartation Wedge…

And since I mentioned that we have authority to bind and we have the same to loose… Remember how I encouraged you to use the sword of the Word to 'loosen the soil' by focusing on those scriptures that align with the Truth of God? After having bound the enemy we then declare and loose, effectively imparting those one-word opposite antonyms of who you are in Christ-Jesus.

There have been times where I've called a demon to attention, bound…commanded and yet I still did not feel the release of the enemy from me, but as I loose these positive attributes into myself and calling them to go forth and fill formerly enemy occupied space within me… it works as a wedge to push the demon out. I can also say as I've grown to administer help in deliverance with others, I continue to use this with success as well.

Reenactment of Prayer:

"'heaviness', you have no place in me anymore…. I impart the attributes of: hope, cheer, contentment, encouragement, happiness, and joy into my spirit into all those places that you held me captive… for I am no longer influenced by you because the spirit of the Lord is within me, and I am released from captivity and set free from your oppression in the name of Jesus!" (Luke 4:18)

The Process…

The moment you make a decision to set a time to work deliverance on yourself… you can expect distractions to meddle with your schedule; thoughts that escalate to delay, or feeling 'sick' etc. So from the get-go, you need to be putting your prophetic shoes on and speaking life into your situation. You need to declare your freedom like a freight train with no brakes!

*Praise and worship or a round of thanksgiving unto God immediately beforehand will stir up the anointing within you and it's so helpful in getting you to physically and mentally tune-in the the Spirit of God.

As you wage war on the invaders you'll feel the apprehension as you begin. Depending on your unique spiritual gifting you will cue - in to a notable cycle that lets you know you are getting the job done. I personally recognize that my battle is over when I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit return and burn in my stomach region. In using the impartation wedge…. I usually feel the Holy Spirit slipping in at that point-- and then when I feel it fully, I know I'm done. I also feel this same sensation when praying deliverance for others… which really is my 'eyes' in knowing what is taking place as I haven't noted the seer anointing kicking in to let me actually 'See' the demonic in the person, whereas my husband can see them and watch when they leave. (Yay…. we're a perfect team because He made us opposites!)

The beauty in starting out on yourself is that it's a valuable learning experience for you.

And then there were two…

And if you want to go deeper you can research and go with what bears in your spirit… but this has started you down the path…. first you are free… people notice the change and you testify the Glory of God…. and then you help those closest to you… and pretty soon you have a team.

As you study you'll learn basic common sense things like to not minister alone to a person of the opposite sex… remember, we are take the revelation that Father God has shared with the body from the past and move forth from that history… and such wisdom from deliverance ministries cannot be ignored… we can learn from their testimonies.

Another reason to grow beyond yourself is because you may have some tough ones that you weren't able to get rid of. Everything I've shown you… has been more 'self deliverance' oriented. You have surely been gaining freedom in some, if not all areas, which you must now maintain control over.

But we are not islands unto ourselves. The Word is pretty clear that as a body, we need each other:
James 5:16 "Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much."
We are also taught that some things do take time.
Matthew 17:21 "But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting."
So if you've done everything, but haven't gone beyond self-deliverance, and still have not gained freedom…. If you know it hasn't ever left as opposed to it leaving and then coming back because you haven't been putting on the full armor of God through a lifestyle of obedience… Then you need to turn to the body of Christ. If you don't have anyone to turn to, then pray for a helper… Again,…. if you ask, believe you will receive help. But I do warn you… only do so after you have done your due diligence.

If you do meet with other christians for further deliverance, you will have effectually loosened the soil… you will be able to share what you believe roots of access are and everyone will know how best to pray with you; catching things you may have missed as well. Through all of this you have been led on a journey of practicing 'responsible deliverance' and now, with this knowledge, I ask that you go forth and multiply what you have learned, not only as a pursuer of the Word of Truth, but a 'doer' as well!

Exposing the Vices - Spiritual Housecleaning

Romans 13:11–14

11 “Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed.

12 The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

13 Let us behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and sensuality, not in strife and jealousy.

14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.”

Hi Freedom 1, hearingGod.tv and we've slowly been shutting down enemy access points by examining our fruits and habits… we've been desiring that abundant life that the Bible speaks of as a promise to His kids.

So now I'd like you to dig into some good ole' fashioned sin hunt'in and we'll do it with the help from St. Augustine’s Prayer book: "FORMS AND PRAYERS FOR SELF-EXAMINATION, CONTRITION, AND SATISFACTION AND AMENDMENT OF LIFE"

You can find these things on the internet, on a bookshelf, but I'd like to refer you to a: "Resource and Field Guide for Christian Soldiers and New Recruits" ... starting on page 5-13… because it contains the 'personal inventory' and then a 'self examination' guide--- basically the meat of what is really gonna help you all in one place, without a lot of other page flipping. Also because that guide in general has many other good references in it.

As you go through the he first part, the 'Personal Inventory', it will get you thinking with simple questions and the second part, the 'Self-Examination', fleshes out deeper meanings… essentially defining the sins with life examples… so if the questions don't grab you, the latter will. I feel it's simply a matter of reaching both left and right-brained people… so it's very balanced.

Consider printing it out and going through it… so, you are actively taking notes… Starring the ones that pop out and notating sins-- times where those things manifested in your life.

After you go through all of your note taking meditations… the prayers are at the end which draw you to:

1) Repentance… recognizing the sin and turning from it

Repent - I'm sorry… I was wrong

During the "FORM FOR CONFESSION"… there is a very important pause in there that says:

"Listen attentively to anything Christ may bring to mind through the Holy Sprit; humbly accept his forgiveness."

When I did this I heard words come to mind, one after another (What is that? “Ask and you shall receive?!”). I wrote them down and some I wasn't sure what they really meant… so I looked up their definitions and then He had me reflect on and call to mind the sins that matched the words, as memories and incidents would surface, so then I could add those things to my list as well.

Also remember to add anything from all your previous examinations… anything from the other Spiritual Housecleaning series of videos that may have gotten stirred up and got on your radar.

The last prayer, "SATISFACTION, AMENDMENT OF LIFE" moves you to walk, in that you are forgiven.

Yay… we now have gotten 'real' with ourselves… we have identified the invaders and now we are going to loosen up the soil!

For each 'word' on your list…. make sure you know the definition, but I now want you to get out the thesaurus and look up each word. In the Thesaurus…you note all those other 'similar' words…

I'm going to bring this scripture up to you again from Luke 11:24-26:

"When the unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and not finding any, it says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.' And when it comes, it finds it swept and put in order.

Then it goes and takes along seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they go in and live there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first."

If a spirit has access to one facet of you, then we can see that it gains it's strength by widening the grip with similar spirits. Isn't it harder to notice the candy in the bowl going down if we take one at a time? But if we grab a huge amount we notice right away. It's the same with spiritual access. Bitterness may be the doorkeeper and sarcasm can slip in the justify 'bitterness'. So it's easy to see how ‘like’ sneaks in 'like' and be under your radar until there's a party there and you feel trapped/overwhelmed!

So that's why I want you to pay attention in the thesaurus. I actually wrote each one of my words down on a piece of paper and then by looking at the thesaurus results I could begin to see grouping patterns with the pieces of paper. The essential strongholds began to be clearer. Those heavy into deliverance ministry have called those cluster groupings… some list them with a branch of one main intruder with many connected smaller branches being these other supporting spirits. By grouping these together… and if we can recall an instance that started this problem to begin with we can begin to target the root or the bad branch and cut it off so that we are not individually cutting off leaves and they keep growing back.

[Matt. 12:29--It says : "Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house"]

In beginning to identify these access doors… again, I turn to the thesaurus and instead look at the antonym. This is key… because if something is bad…. you focus on the opposite 'Good'.

Now I can see an opposite Good… now I can go to the weapon and begin to loosen the bonds that the enemy has.

The weapon is of course the Holy Word of God : )

Get yourself a topical bible and begin to war by using the Word of God and

2.) Renouncing the enemy's claims by siding with God's Word.

This is like stripping of the bark of this evil branch… you begin to starve it.

As you study in a topical bible, you'll look up that bad sin or attribute, reinforcing what God has to say about it-- agreeing with Him on the matter. Then we turn to study on it's opposite… it's antonyms and through that study we agree with God and prophesy it over ourselves. We may have been in a completely wrong direction before, but we aren't going to beat ourselves up about it… no, we know our inheritance and we know whose likeness we are called to bear… so we claim the Word is true and speak it forth for ourselves. For every future battle you have… rinse and repeat. Using the Word as our weapon when the past creeps up or when we get a mental assault… we must not fight flesh and blood but in using the 2-edged sword--- The Word of God!

Before I ever started down this Spiritual cleansing path, the Lord asked me to do the Bible Promise Series. And now don't we know why? I want to encourage you to make playlists that cover those areas… those Good, Positive antonyms of the Word of God that that you need to war with. You can loop them and play them overnight… if you watched my "Pray without Ceasing" video, play them when you are stuck doing mindless labor…. use this tool.

When do we get to deliverance?!!!!

It's coming!!!!

Negative Confessions, Inner Vows & Curses - Spiritual Housecleaning

Ever get disturbed by the massive amount of 'positive thinking' guru garbage that's out there? Why is it so big? It's big, because it's precepts are based on biblical principles, and it will work for people until the day they stand before God and He retorts:

"You have not come through the door that I appointed."

[John 1:1"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber."]

If such 'positive' biblical precepts will work for anyone-- have we, 'heirs of the kingdom' really understood the power not only for good but for bad that we wield by our professed outlook on life?

This episode of Spiritual Housecleaning focuses on understanding the damage that a negative outlook or confessions, as well as unscriptural inner vows can harm us and place a heavy bondage over our lives.

I'm going to tell you a couple of real life examples that explore the effects of compounding negativity… so that you will be able to -- in turn -- effectively 'fine tooth comb' through your own issues later and gain victory in God's ultimate truth.

So let me tell you a story about a girl…

This girl has always had a life mantra of "I'm not a math person". Now it's true that we all have giftings and talents that Father God uniquely blesses His children with, but remember, we're getting out the fine tooth comb… and we have to separate what is healthy in our excuses versus what have we allowed to become as a bondage over our lives.

The bondage of a wrong belief system can be unearthed and realized in layers, if we will be 'real' with ourselves.

So back to our 'non-math lov'in gal'… and the many layers that led up to an unbiblical belief that became a form of bondage:

It began all the way back in elementary school. The High School math teacher also doubled as her bus driver. One of the family dogs would often break it's chain or slip out of it's collar and do what it loved to do best…. Chase the bus! This frequent occurrence highly perturbed the Math teacher/bus driver. He would often berate this girl, as though it were her responsibility, and she would in turn, tell her Father who was supposed to fix everything, as she wasn't capable to fix a broken link or to go buy a new collar. Her only job was to feed the dog, and that she did very faithfully.

Well, one day, the bus driver ended up running over the dog. The girl really wasn't that sad about it because she did all she could… obviously warning the Dad over and over she wasn't going to beat herself up about it (the dog was a skilled ‘escape artist’!). But, the bus driver was very upset about it.

Now let's fast forward to Middle School. Alas, she finds herself in this Math teacher's class. He has a habit or perhaps a joy in ridiculing anyone that doesn't excel. Our poor heroine not only gets an earful of 'you're stupid', but humiliation in front of all her peers. After this experience she downgrades to basic math for the remainder of school, flies the banner of 'I'm not a math person', avoids 'numbers', and would get a cloudy fog in her mind and struggle to even mentally calculate a simple waiter's tip in her adult years.

What do we have involved here? It's evident that this teacher/bus driver blamed her for the dog always getting loose. There was obvious bitterness harbored against her… and the root of a curse of 'stupid' lies at this point. This teacher/bus driver was an 'authority figure' in her life and if you research in the Word you'll find that authority figures have the power to curse those beneath them as well as bless. In this teacher's class, again… he continued to build that curse of 'stupid' but this time targeted within 'Math' and it's a lie she believed. Through his reckless intimidation (*note intimidation or any sign of 'kill, steal or destroy' coming out of a person is a dead-ringer for demonic influence)-- this poor girl, although innocent and notably wronged, became a victim of a negative lie from the enemy that was solidified as an inner vow.

Folks, this stinks. It's not fair… how many of us have had a portion of our souls marred in innocence in our youth like this poor girl…. this poor girl that was ME. But this victorious girl now, because I have the understanding through the WORD on how to overcome!

[2 Corinthians 10:5 "We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.."]

Because of all these layered experiences I had slowly succumbed to the poison and agreed with them and it manifested in my life for:

"The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart." Luke 6:45

"For as he thinks within himself, so he is."

Proverbs 23:7

Other people can project their inner vows or negativity to you-- and Yes, YOU also project your negativity and vows to others. Plainly said wherever you are not in the truth of the Word you have an access point for the enemy.

If we are in the truth, we reflect what Jesus said in John 14:30:

"I will not speak much more with you, for the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me;.."

When satan doesn't have a hook in you in a certain area of your life, you won't mirror those things opposed to the bible. You won't allow those thoughts to be entertained.

Examples: I met an elderly woman that would constantly spew out fear. Just because people of another race moved in next door she brought in her patio furniture and everything, to a ridiculous degree… already having it in her mind that they were going to rob her. Learn something from this…what she projects, is what the enemy will have access to do, because she's not taking those thoughts captive but she's already determined her belief and it's coming out of her mouth and by her actions.

Have you ever read the book of Job and considered why Satan had access to him? Job, the blameless, upright and God-fearing man? Ever noticed verse 5?:

"When the days of feasting had completed their cycle, Job would send and consecrate them, rising up early in the morning and offering burnt offerings according to the number of them all; for Job said, "Perhaps my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts." Thus Job did continually."

Job 1:5

Can you see Job was developing a thought process contrary to the Truth? Satan couldn't see that… all he could see were Holy offerings made to the Lord… but God saw into Job's heart.

Does satan have a place in us that causes us to doubt the absolute Truth of God? We have a choice… will we trust with our whole heart, our whole souls and with our whole minds?

Ever wonder why you always treat a certain person a certain way or others do that with you? I have another true example to share for someone we'll call 'Sarah'; and like my story I'm going to start at the root and move forwards so you can see the power in words; lies believed and know that today, you can examine your own life, and find freedom in the Truth.

Sarah was the last child in a family… a 'surprise' pregnancy that came during an economic tight and tough time. The root is simply that she wasn't wanted under those circumstances. We will call this root a 'spirit of Rejection'. Because of this root of Rejection brought on by parents and possibly grandparents-- by sharing negative words or by assuming bad inner vows… whatever the case, there was an agreement with a precept from the enemy while Sarah was in the womb that would act as a dark cloud over her influencing her throughout her life.

Now, Sarah's parents are great, they love her dearly, but it only takes one 'unrepented of' agreement with the enemy for this thing to seed and grow. But to grow a lie, a wrong belief, an inner vow is needed to cover the foundation. In Sarah's case, whenever 'rejection' would arise in her life, food became a crutch. Mind you, anything can be a crutch, but 'food' was the lie that Sarah was literally fed, and led to believe as the 'fix'.

Guess what happens when you eat too much? Now enters the "fatty" teasing, and jokes to further this bondage. Guess what happens when you keep hearing repetition of something and then BElieve that lie?

Is it any wonder that Sarah has tried weight loss programs and cannot find any success? Because the fat-jokes and teasing were rampant for so many years, they have also spread to other members of the family as well… as well as the curse that goes with it.

People laugh and say, it's 'just joking, just teasing'-- but the Word says we are accountable for every word!

["But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned."

Matthew 12:36-37]

God spoke and it was (Genesis 1:3)! What does the Word say about who we are in Jesus? [GO RESEARCH IT OUT YOURSELF]

Lastly, I'd like to share from Derek Prince's book "Blessing or Curse - You Can Choose" a book I highly recommend.

[Also check out "Me and My Big Mouth" by Joyce Meyer]

I'll paraphrase and then read From chapter 12 on 'Self Imposed Curses'…

Peter denied Jesus three times. Three days later, the angels at the empty tomb told the women "But go, tell His disciples and Peter.." Peter by his own words had denied Christ and now we see the angel reinforcing that… "and Peter", not simply a 'go tell the disciples'.

From the book: "Later Jesus graciously opened the way for Peter to regain his standing as a disciple. He asked Peter three times, "Do you love Me?" Peter answered each time in the affirmative but he was grieved that Jesus put the question three times. He did not realize that Jesus was leading him in this way to revoke his previous denials. For each time that he had made a wrong confession, he now made the right confession. On this basis he was reinstated as a disciple.

The way Jesus dealt with Peter established a pattern for all who need to be released from the snare of a bad confession. There are three successive steps: Repent -- Revoke --Replace."

After you identify the lies, you Repent of those wrong confessions, lies and vows -- Revoke and cancel them in Jesus' name and the Power of what His shed blood did for you -- and then Replace what was wrong with the TRUTH (in the Word of God).

Remember to use the Bible Promise series and make playlists to aid in reprogramming yourself with His Truth. And don't just read or listen to the scriptures but pray for revelation of what they really mean for your situation.

["But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. John 16:13]

PRAYERS (remember to journal out all your experiences/events that were negative and look for patterns and 'onion layers' to problems you are having)

from the book “Prayers That Heal the Heart” by Mark & Patti Virkler:

1. I confess and repent of my sin (and if appropriate, my ancestors’ sin) of believing the lie that ______________ and for the ways I have judged others and/or institutions based upon this negative belief.

2. I forgive _________ for contributing to my forming this negative expectation/belief. I forgive myself for believing this lie.

3. I confess the countering divine truth that _________.

Renounce inner vows

1. I confess and repent of my sin of vowing that _____________.

2. I forgive ________ for contributing to my forming this vow and myself for making this vow.

3. Instead, I now purpose by the power of the Holy Spirit to __________________________.

Break Word Curses

1. I confess and repent for receiving the word curse stating that “I _____________”, and for any anger or resentment against You, God, for allowing this to happen in my life.

2. I forgive and release ______________ (self & others) for speaking this over me. I ask You, God, to forgive me, and I receive Your forgiveness. I forgive myself for participating in this sin.

3. I joyfully accept the divine exchange Christ made for me on the cross of Calvary. I break this curse over me right now in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and I receive His divine blessing of __________ (the opposite) which replaces this curse.

Cast out demons

--this is the last step, that will shut the demonic access to you. I will be discussing this in a future video, but do consider the aforementioned book by the Virkler's… as it has step-by-step understanding that will help you get free and STAY free!

Spiritual Housecleaning - Strongholds Edu

In Chris Simpson’s guide entitled: Deliverance from Evil Spirits, I found this interesting tidbit… Did you know...:

Another guide, prayers etc. on the subject can be found at my site under 'clean up your act'.
