Planting Seeds Among Occultists

There are 2 kinds of people in the occult. Those that are 'searching' and through occult power... see results and are therefore drawn in.... and there are those that reject God and embrace it. The majority are those 'searching dabblers'. Unless a person REALLY reads the scripture and chases after God, it's all to easy for even a professing 'Christian' to dabble unawares.

Hi Freedom 1 here…. I can even attest to dabbling unawares in my younger days... coming across an 'Automatic Writing' tape from the library. I had no idea what it was… the description on it sounded pretty good… I mean, who doesn't want direction for their life? I said I was a 'Christian', was kind to others, didn't do anything radically off-the-wall bad… but never had read the bible outside of Sunday services. Even then, it wasn't me reading the scriptures, but listening to it being recited. This speaks to many people of today… content with watching other people having relationships with Jesus; content to mooch off the experience of others, never 'entering in' to Know Him for oneself.

In my experience with the automatic writing, every time it told me to call on some ominous force, I of course, called on Jesus. For some reason it didn't work for me, but I then later understood that I had to repent of looking for direction outside of the confines of the Holy Scriptures. It doesn't matter that it didn't work, I had crossed the line by peeking where the Word says I shouldn't.

Deu 18:10"There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer,

Deu 18:11or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead.

Deu 18:12"For whoever does these things is detestable to the LORD; and because of these detestable things the LORD your God will drive them out before you.”

Whether we are ignorant of the scriptures or not, we are blessed and we are cursed by it's timeless mandate. And this is often the angle I use with occult dabblers. You see, they are where they are at because they perceive power, help, or benefit in some way.

You often see the phrase of "Love and Light" as a seeming blessing. You'll see all manner of grated biblical precepts like "do what thou wilt but harm none", "be at peace with all man", and so on…. all precepts with a root of truth, but devoid of Jesus and Father God; and not lining up with the scriptures.

Remember what Satan did with Eve in the Garden… he took the truth and twisted it.

Unfortunately many Christians either shun occult dabblers or worse harden them more so by using angry/judgmental scriptures or ones that spell out the sin, all out of context, neglecting the reason of 'why'.

The simple revelation of:

"Hmm, maybe God wants a relationship with mankind… maybe He wants you to consult Him."

If such 'Christians' really knew the scriptures, in that, God spells out that sin is as a veil of darkness over their eyes, and so they cannot see.

Rom 1:21“For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.”

The way we witness to the world is by meeting people where they are at, by feeding them the keys that unlock the darkness and stir the hunger within them to search for the truth. You see, it's not your job to save souls, it's Jesus's. Christ made flesh through you, breaks the clouds away.

Rev 12:11 "And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death."

Your experience, especially if you were once in the occult and broke free, is a 'been there, done that… got the t-shirt, GOT the trophy', but it was empty--- testimonial that they are going to identify with. These are all seeds to be planted. If you are blessed to be sent in to their lives after the seeds have grown, then the anointing will break the yoke. There's nothing greater than standing before a person, that recognizes what 'power' is, and unleash the true power of the Holy Spirit over them.

Sickness Is A Doorway

Desperate people are much more likely to consent to an offer for prayer. I pray that all of you out there have asked Jesus for His baptism in the Holy Spirit… that you all are speaking in tongues and at every drop of a hat are exercising and displaying that you are healed by His stripes in your own life first instead of running to the doctor or immediately popping pills. Greater Works are something you walk into by faith… and if your heart is to reach those in the occult your confidence in the Word of Truth and in your Lord has to shine through.

Acts 14:3“Therefore they spent a long time there speaking boldly with reliance upon the Lord, who was testifying to the word of His grace, granting that signs and wonders be done by their hands.”

When you pray over family or friends can they physically feel the presence of God flowing through you? If you said "Yes," this is going to be one of the biggest witnesses of Jesus because you simply become the vessel and disappear and HE does all the work. Do you realize that the Anti-Christ and perhaps his followers are going to soon enter the stage and the deception will be so great that it says even the elect might be deceived?

They are going to 'pray' over people and get results….what are YOU waiting for? It's not going to get easier… it will be harder…. so think of that co-worker… that server at your favorite restaurant that you know is in the occult and is ill or searching. Ask the Lord for boldness and give His Spirit permission to nag you to Move!

I Used To Be A 'Christian'….

I find it especially endearing when occult dabblers admit "I used to be a Christian", because it reveals an either 'bad' or 'spiritually dead' experience, which makes it so much easier to witness to them. Why? Because we can agree with their pain and disappointment on some level; the apostate church that is powerless and does not DO what the word says.

I can happily share my experiences in the Truth and in boasting of the fulfillment I have that they admitted having not found there. It's essentially my apologizing for the bad experience they had… agreeing with their calling a spade a spade… but then basically saying "Try it again, but this time….", targeting what pushed them away. Get them to separate that experience from the person of Jesus, so that you are re-introducing them to the Messiah, that you know intimately.

• Was their experience suppressive and controlling?

What was all the bustle about Pharisees, Saducees and Teachers in the Bible?...

Hypocrites - Luke 12:1

False Apostles, Selfish and Authoritarian - 2 Corinthians 11:19

False Teachers & the Love of Money - 1 Timothy 6: 3-10

False Teachers, Gluttonous and Money - Titus 1:10-16

Altered Gospel - 2 John 1:7-11

False Teacher - Revelation 2:20

Elitism, Pride, Gossip, Authoritarian - 3 John 1: 9-12

• No power or a blind eye to the supernatural… just a routine?

Mar 16:17-18 "These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

And we wonder why it's called the 'narrow road' that few take? Obviously getting them to question that perhaps a church that doesn't follow the Word, might not be 'true church' after all.

• Do as I say, but not as I do… with family or church members?

Just because a parent or church member or family 'got away' with behaving badly, doesn't mean it won't be dealt with in the future…

By their fruits you shall know them.

• I prayed but nothing ever happened.

Luke 11:9"So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you."

…. Did they actually read the scriptures ….ask them to put themselves in Gods shoes regarding relationship…. was it just like genie in a bottle or did they actively seek to Know Him?

Romans 10:17 "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ."

• Cults, errant teaching or lack of revelation.

I've come across people admitting that their background was tongue-talking, demon casting, 5-fold ministry… and yet were pushed away because that church didn't have full revelation on understanding generational curses. I have an example of a guy that said, "I really tried, I was at church 3 days a week… but God has damned me and there's nothing I can do." At his past church, instead of removing a generational curse, which in his case was a homosexual tendency, the church would constantly have deliverance sessions of casting a demon of homosexuality out of him… to no avail. Why of course not… it has legal right to be there via sins of the forefather.

I encourage you to read Exodus 20:3-5, realizing that this is in the context of THE FIRST COMMANDMENT:

"You shall have no other gods before Me. (CAUSE)

You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth.

You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, (EFFECT) visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me…" Exodus 20:3-5

Are you going to 'salad bar' with the 10 commandments???

If the command is still in effect, the curse is as well-- UNTIL the blood of Jesus is applied to it! Problem is, is that most people only think repenting for their own sin is enough… hmmm, gotta do something with theses scriptures.

[Other 'Generational Sins' verses: Exodus 34:6-7, Numbers 14:18, Jeremiah 2:5-9, Jeremiah 32:17-18, Deuteronomy 5:9-10, Malachi 2:1-4…]

Let me get back to this guy that tried, but 'church' failed him…. So because he put church on his pedestal instead of seeking God about it… when 'church' failed him… and then his church condemned him as a sinner because the homosexual tendencies remained… Are you feeling a deep empathy for him? 'He tried', but it was someone in his family line that walked away from God first!

Romans 1:21 “For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.”

He Wants All the Souls

God created all in His image and He wants all the souls. Can you be the one to feed these searching people the truth they so desperately need? Make sense for them by the truth of the Word and in the power of your testimony!

The Lord showed me a dream this past year about how searching and hungry occult dabblers are. He showed me people almost as groupies flocking to a writers book table that was selling new age help books. The book author operated in occult psychic power and enamored the crowd. But these people were dissatisfied, unfulfilled, angry and honest in professing their hatred and disbelief in God. Then the scene panned down beneath them. I could see rows and rows of heavy weights with floating sculptures of witches tied to them.

Any amount of dabbling brings on a curse:

“And the person who turns after mediums and familiar spirits, to prostitute himself with them, I will set My face against that person and cut him off from his people.” Leviticus 20:6

It is like that weight in the ocean that prevents them from seeing the sky, from accepting the truth. So I encourage you… go to the root. First, privately (internally) bind satanic forces over them before you share. Ask them if they have ever had curses broken off their lives. Offer to pray with them… if they consent, Hooray…. because, if you can destroy the root… then when they search for truth, the blinders will be off. Then, continue to pray for them in your prayer closet… scriptures over their life, as led by the Holy Spirit.

"Brethren, my heart's desire and my prayer to God for them is for their salvation." Romans 10:1

No Religiosity

One of my favorite quotes is from St. Francis of Assisi: "Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words."

I can't stress enough that you meet people where they are at. Remember my dream… they can't see the sky because of the weight, holding them down… Interpreted: the scriptures are not going to be revealed to them lest the veil is removed first.

"…but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away." 2 Corinthians 3:16

This is why the word of your testimony is so important. Throwing scriptures at them is what? Did you learn anything from my examples?

Jesus taught revelation through parables so that it would loosen the soil and be received, and you are to do the same.

"...Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying: 'I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world.'” Matthew 13:34-35

These days biblical precepts are everywhere in the occult but with some other label on it and void of Jesus. Searching and open people will respond to those precepts just as Gentiles flocked to Jesus when He preached.

Do not Fear

Remember about what I said about your confidence in the Word of Truth? When you are under His covering, when you are doing only what you see the Father doing, what does the bible promise? [Do you BELIEVE Psalm 91 yet??]

[I show some pictures of Pagan events or places where I've been led to go and pray.] If the gates of Hell shall not prevail against the 'church', then we should all understand that we are living arks of the covenant… wherever we carry the Lord, the enemy is silenced… and people in the occult can begin to hear the voice of of Father God.

Occult dabblers may 'get away' with a lot of stuff amongst unspirit-filled people, but ruin or complete salvation are the only ends when they approach a vessel of the most high Jesus Christ!

God won't be Boxed! Part 1

You ever hear about occult members going into institutional church and doing witchcraft?  Worshipping alongside of believers in Jesus, saying the prayers but focusing on their little 'g' god?  Makes you wonder doesn't it, how do christians give such credence to the enemy's followers who infiltrate the church, but what does the church do?   It retreats to it's box and believes anything outside of the box is bad.  That sure sounds like a recipe for realllllly missing God to me.  In fact...doesn't it only take one bad thing to fart in the box and taint and leaven the whole batch?

What makes a thing 'good' or 'bad'?  If the occult person is focusing on their little 'g' god in a christian church environment... pulling on that love around them & going in the complete opposite direction... does that show you the power all humanity possesses by what we choose to empower in the mind?  The most successful 'positive thinking programs' out there use all the precepts in the bible but devoid of honoring or recognizing Jesus.
(Jhn 10:1"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber.)

See here poses the problem... the Word of God does not return void.... it's true whether it's for the believer in Jesus or if it's only a salad bar for the unbeliever.  The Word of God contains the keys to life.

Of course... you know these occult people can only bear evil fruit in a place that is devoid of worship in Spirit and truth... if they enter in amongst those borne of Spirit and truth, they get exposed and many so overwhelmed they find the encounter with the power of the One true God a life-changing one, one way or the other!

But what about the churches that are not spirit-filled?

I have an interesting testimony... in that part of it was being led out of institutionalized church into a setting that reflects more of what the disciples experienced as a home-church setting.  Of course anyone I share this with looks down upon me and my family and see it as a forsaking unity with the brethren etc., but God says 2 or 3 gathered... it's not quantity but quality in true unity aligned with His purposes (we currently have been led back into a church setting... just following where He leads!)

I want to share a bit of background that led up to this decision...

There was a lot of seeking God going on in a small group setting that we met with weekly, apart from institutional church.  Through this group, both my husband and I went through a thing called 'generational deliverance', whereby we cancelled any curses passed onto us by our forefathers and we also shut doors that we had opened up ourselves, that let us open to attack from the enemy.  Our spiritual eyes became opened and we plunged into a deeper union  with Jesus as all those generational voices became silenced... we could Hear the voice of God clearer.  We began to have dreams, see visions, seeing the presence of spirits, whether good or bad and move prophetically.  Then the dichotomy began...

As God began to give us revelation, we began to share things with our church Pastor, which were politely-smile rejected.  Then the church services became more of a warfare session then a place of fellowship and celebrating Jesus.  Being spirit-filled... the darkness began to manifest.  We'd be sitting in the pew and all the sudden I'd feel a burden to pray and be internally praying in tongues in the service and afterwards my husband asked me if I could see what he saw in the pew in front of us during the service.  When I had been praying, he was actually seeing and confronting a spirit of death upon the person in front of us.

In the following weeks during holiday celebrations the lights would mysteriously blink and the speaker system would also be on the fritz.  As we would pray my husband would see angels come in and flashes of light in an unseen battle.

At first I was adamant that we should stay there and fight every week on behalf of the people, but week after week and church not being the sanctuary it is supposed to be, the Lord showed us that we did what we could by going to the pastor... and because he is the head of the church, nothing can go higher then his authority.  Because he rejected what we brought forth (and likely-- we were called out by the crying out of people in the church), it lies upon his head, not ours.  It is then up to God to disperse the people that are crying out, from under this ceiling of spiritual bondage.

The Lord led us to do the unthinkable... leave institutional church...  try to explain that one.... already we can't tell people all we were seeing in the spirit going on in church... the pastor rejects us and now people equate 'no church to falling away entirely from God'!  This is not fun stuff here!  The biggest attacking we get is that "Oh, you're not in a church... that's not right, God has ordained an order to 'church' of submission under pastors, teachers, apostles, prophets etc...".  But what those people don't know is that God places those relationships and that order into our life.  If you think a seminary certificate is the only way God is going to work--- whoooops, just missed Him!

Stay tuned... I'm going to add on to this train of thought in the next episode of hearingGod.

Another kind of 'Invasion'

New World Order, Bohemian Grove, Aliens, UFO's....if you're into spiritual warfare, these things are all too familiar in your vocabulary. BUT, have you heard of the latest invasion for overcomers?

Exposing darkness. Is it important? Yes! Wake up the sleepers-- very important. But church.... I'm noticing a new attack zone that's as old as old leatherbelly offering Eve an apple in the Garden of Eden. It's simple.... tell the truth but add in a lie.

It's hard when trying to wake up the church in exposing a lie with some of this stuff... especially the stuff that has completely penetrated our society like yoga and tibetan sand mandalas. Yoga has a health benefit attached and with mandalas, I've heard many a christian argue that it's just a pretty art form. Never mind the occultic underlying things that people want to attribute to superstition or 'they don't really mean that'.... c'mon the truth is strange. Most of the church rejects supernatural anything... turn the cheek... nope, didn't see that. People are quick to reject anything on the other side of the fence... especially any mere mention of anything regarding the enemy's camp. We know we can't dwell on that side of the fence but we must be aware of what's going on over there to have an effective offense. Eeegad! Even the army operates this way!

A trend I'm now seeing that we need to be wary of is members of the occult masquerading as 'christians' and supposedly 'exposing' this darkness. Having some 'appearance' of Godliness. YouTube is infested with it. And this is the challenge.... dividing the truth from the lie.

We cannot bury our heads in the sand.... what do we do?
1 Thessalonians 5:21 "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good."

BUT the enemy quotes the scriptures toooooo! That is the problem folks....the only way to tell is by the anointing (or lack of it) coming off of the media you are in-taking, and by watching the fruits that are produced.

The other day I was watching something that had all the right exposing media... it used scripture, but when it was done my spirit was troubled. Something was wrong, so I prayed & Jesus asked me "What is the spirit on this video that's troubling you?"..... ah, yes Lord.... it IS a spirit & it's one of confusion and FEAR. Then He told me to look at the fruits produced, so I looked at the comments for the video and then it was all too clear. The video owner was attacking and judging other christians etc.

Again, exposing darkness has it's place-- there is definitely a need for warriors to do so especially in combating the enemy leavened batches... but we have to also ask ourselves where do we need to spend most of our time? We all have to ultimately remember it's not about exposing satan, so much as it is getting close to the one whom has saved us. And as we are conformed into His image our fruit bears Greater Works. It is deliverance and healing and love that conquers satan... and who is it that is commissioned to do these Greater Works? These Greater Works of signs and wonders of the kingdom of God in the Holy name of Jesus? Our focus is not to be in heady knowledge of what the enemy does so much as it is in the anointing of Jesus pouring out as rivers of living waters through US!

[Prayer and impartation to feel the anointing of God and the greater gift of discernment]

Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things."
