Occupy Until He Comes

 

Take authority in your region of influence by bringing in the Presence of God -- Occupying until HE comes.

Jesus did the work but we, as His ambassadors, must appropriate what He did, making His enemies His footstool. He sent the Holy Spirit to comfort but also to activate us in His Power. C'mon people... things are getting worse because fewer & fewer people actively allow Jesus to reign through them taking a stand!

In this teaching from 2006, Stingray also talks about the importance of paying attention to how the accuser of the brethren tries to get believers to attack one-another & the best solution for this type of mental retaliation after gaining ground on the enemy's front.

How do you bring in the Presence of God??? -- Praise n' Worship?, Prayer Walking?....Sorry folks, it's not a method...ASK JESUS.... after all, if Jesus only did what He saw the Father doing... we are to do the same : ) On the same token...it's not so important that you implement a '3-day rule' of not talking to people....but that you're mature enough to begin to recognize the mental warfare that ensues... you may be able to control it, but others might rail you unawares... easily forgetting what's really going on (it's not so fun to try to explain it's the enemy causing it in a heated moment so a blanket & agreed upon '3-day rule' can be rather helpful).

Spiritual Warfare Dreams

"It will come about after this That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions.” Joel 2:28 (Acts 2:17)

This is for those that have received baptism in the Holy Spirit and are now showing up on the enemy’s radar as you are beginning to move in POWER. (“…but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you..” Acts 1:8a)

Dreams can come from three sources: the demonic realm, the soulish realm (our own mind and emotions) or from God's Holy Spirit— But i have good news for you… if you are abiding in the Lord, you have nothing to fear regarding dreams tainted by or from satan.  The nightscape can indeed be your most notable form of spiritual warfare as you begin to move in Power, remembering that, “..our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

So I had a major dreamscape revelation when we relocated to a new city.  I realized a sequence of the same night battles I had already experienced in the same order that they happened, but at a much advanced rate!  What took years before was now flashing in weeks and months. Mind you, satan is not Omniscient (all knowing), Omnipotent (all powerful), or Omnipresent (ability to be everywhere at all times).  And so that is exactly what was happening in this new territory… I was seen as a threat, but they had to know ‘how much of a threat’ by running me through their local ranks.

Why so quick the second time?  Well, when my spiritual eyes first opened I hadn’t enough experience to implement ‘binding and loosing’.

Matthew 16:19, "And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

However, by our move, I had become quite the spiritual policewoman.

Important strategy….
Learn to use your authority!  If you’ve received the baptism  in the Holy Spirit, by golly, you have POWER and Authority in Jesus’ name.  After every attack, immediately bind and cast the attacking spirits to the footstool of Jesus.  if you don’t, the same ones can come back more and more equipped because each time they’ve went back to share their intel and get new orders from the chain of satanic command.  Do you want them to get a time out with their coach to discuss new ‘plays’ or would you rather take out the quarterback and they have no clue what to do next??
When you exercise authority, they disappear from the enemy’s camp, being sent to Jesus for judgement (The Lord said to my Lord, "sit at my right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool." Psalm 110:1 (Matthew 22:44, Mark 12:36, Luke 20:43, Hebrews 1:13, Hebrews 10:13  Acts 2:35)
Even so, other demons with similar assignments may be sent against you… the enemy is watching your fruit & if you are failing in temptations or whatever in the day, they aren’t going to expend higher ranks if you won’t cleanse and go higher. 

Many people cry out about all the night demonic attacks & profess ‘doing everything’,  and yet during the day they are secretly engaged in dirty jokes, coarse jesting, peeking at porn or keeping bad company.  If you are using your authority but not conforming to Christ Jesus, I imagine it’s like a hostage crisis… you bind it & cast it… you continue to sin…satan points that out to God… and does that demon get out of jail free and maybe bring some others along with him to turn up the attacks?

Before I get into talk about rank and sequence, I want to talk about making your home your safe-place and axing any gained access the enemy may have to legally go before God to torment you. 

The enemy gains access by sin.  So it is first and foremost that we abide in the Lord in order to be covered under His hand of protection.  I encourage you to check out the Spiritual Housecleaning Series so you can focus on cleaning any access you may not realize is a gaping spiritual hole for the enemy to jump right on in.  We can’t be so dull to only look at what we believe are ‘big sins’ and say “I’m not doing ‘that’, I’m just fine.”, No… there is much to look at in way of true repentance, forgiveness, soul ties, healing soul wounds, generational curses and things we’ve picked up over the years that are idols and or cursed objects.

After we clean up ourselves, we clean up our surroundings ("Enlarge the place of your tent; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; Lengthen your cords And strengthen your pegs.” Isaiah 54:2).
We ask God to reveal the shedding of any innocent blood, any evil events past or present that the blood of Jesus must cover and break it’s authority over our property and then we go as led from there.
Prayer-walk your borders, anoint, consecrate, invite the angels in…. ask Jesus what to do.

Bring the presence of God in by creating an atmosphere of Praise, Worship and Thanksgiving…
The psalmist David said, “I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.” Psalms 9:1-3

and remember, Romans 10:17 “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.”, so by being in the word , surrounded by it and professing it, it becomes your effective two-edged sword of the spirit (Hebrews 4:12).

At bedtime…
Pray and take authority over all that is yours and invite God’s warring angels to protect you (“Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” Hebrews 1:14)
Playing bible-based praise and worship music or the scriptures being read at a low volume all night long is something we’ve done, because the Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11).

You also must WANT to be delivered:
'Pleasure Spirits' - You Have to Want Them Gone to be Delivered

Terror - Deal with intimidation…. suppression, ‘can’t breathe’, chasing, some alien abduction stuff — evoking FEAR.

Programming - These sort of dreams can happen at any level but I wanted to put them in with the frontliners simply because this should be an easy one if you’re actively training in taking every thought captive unto the obedience of Christ Jesus.
As an example…I had a dream where there was a quick view of an alive, but rotten torso…. as if a hunk of meat.  Dreams like these are attempts at trying to program your day with a negative attitude.
It was ‘disgusting’ and so you know how someone will say something during the day and your response may be over-reactive to the point of belittling another?…. well, that’s what this ‘disgust’ thing was trying to do.
And  think of the many ways to program for a negative outlook… but He tells us to choose life, to hope the best in all people and so on in the Word.

A note on Astral Projection….
Those in witchcraft can tap into demonic spiritual travel and join in with satan’s attacks to spy upon us, attack us in the night and intimidate. Real spiritual into the physical phenomena is noticed.  Attacks are felt in the dreamscape and can even be noted in the natural by things missing, moved around, turned on/off… like demons do but the world calls them ‘ghosts’.  They can also be a reason for ‘portals’, which I’ll mention later on.
 
What can you do if you think it may be an astral occultist attack?  Ask the Lord.  I can share that when I’ve prayed and asked, I will often see ‘cords’ or ’strands’ in the spirit…. people often refer to this scripture:
from Ecclesiastes 12:6:  “Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.”
Perhaps that’s the scripture the Lord gave them, I don’t know….but my advice to you is if when you pray, you see things in the spirit, you simply deal with them.  If you see fiery darts, call them down…. if you see strands, cut them in the name of Jesus and declare what the blood of Jesus has done for you, whether you are actively in the dreamscape or immediately waking up. 

Don’t say, “I forget my dreams!”, or “I never remember to call on Jesus”… TRAIN up, soldier!  Profess life and train your mind for war!

Attacks from occultists… most will happen as a more frontliner attack because hardline occultists don’t like to mess with Christians with authority…. because it’s disastrous to them.  Occultists have testified that they’ve had friends die from going on astral attacks because a christian has commanded the cord be cut.  Soul cut from body…. not a good thing.

I have an example of an occultist attack… as an attempt to harm our finances… I knew by the spirit, by dreams and by comments on a video I did that an occultist was targeting me.  I called a warfare session with my family and then that night I had a dream.  In it, I could see the warlock and his thriving business.  He was actually having a special celebration and invited the community for a kind of open house. The T.V. station was there and newspaper reporters, as it was a big event.
When it came time for him to speak at the podium, the demons he was possessed with manifested, in that he didn’t get to say what he wanted to the people, but instead the demons invited everyone to help themselves to all his product.  There was a rush and pandemonium as the crowd took everything and because the news was there recording everything, there was nothing he could do.  He was ruined.
Because he was agreeing with satan to attack our finances, and because we exerted our authority in Jesus… it was his finances that were destroyed. 
It is not a ‘light thing’ to come after a born-again, spirit-filled believer with authority in Messiah Jesus!

Let’s move on from the Frontliners…..
When you become a Threat, the attacks elevate…
The Team-
A group of 10-15 demons that stage events to see your reactions.  If they get too close, they appear to morph or 'melt':

Psalm 68:2
"As smoke is driven away, so drive them away;
As wax melts before the fire,
So let the wicked perish before God."

Team Leader -
The team's leader will use intimidation and force...things are felt!

Lab Intimidation -
This is more of the alien abduction type of thing… often veiled more because they know if you see them, then you’ll bind and cast them.  So the approach is more mysterious.  You may feel suppressed, like you are tied down to a gurney, and figures will be there and and doing things either to you or around you… but low key and you can bet they are checking you for Fear.
I have an example:
In my dream I had a closeup of hand holding a black cylinder and pushing into my left hip/socket area & when it did it was like an electric shock & made me wake up.  Didn't hurt when I got up but it was mysterious enough that I puzzled over it more than taking spiritual authority over the situation…. and this leads me to the next attack type….

Deception/Probes -
satan can come as an angel of light, right?  Well, that’s the theme here…. In the past you may have felt pure evil approach you in a dream, but in these you will not feel overt evil to warn your senses.  During these, I’ve neither felt a good or bad sensation.   Do you feel good or bad sitting next to a toaster?  Well, no…. so you can see how they get intel from you without getting exposed.
    Portals  These are like spying 'mirrors'... one looked like a black and white circular static screen.
    Machines  Like the Lab intimidation… I’ve also experienced being in a room with a machine of some sort but no figures.  I’ve also awoken to see neon-flashing machines above my head in my bedroom.  With machines and portals…. because they are being controlled, there is a ‘lag time’ in turning them off.   There were 2 occasions where in waking to the flashing machines over my head, I could really look at them for awhile.  I can only imagine that as I’m binding up the enemy, that others are having to scramble and turn the machine off… and fearfully so…. not also wanting to receive judgement.

Assassins/Violence-  This dream, I found as a one time event…. also corroborated with two other Christians I am close to.  It is a super violent, gory experience, not for the weak.  It is a staged event where assassins suddenly assault and you find yourself killing these creatures with your bare hands.  I am not sure if it’s like we have super-human strength or that our authority in the spirit realm is awesome or that these things are so expendable… but just in grabbing them it’s like your hands just rip through them and blood and yuck is everywhere.

Matt. 11:12 "From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force.”

Overcomer Dream -
Another dream you will have when your authority increases is what I call an ‘overcomer dream’.  Again, this is another dream I find gets an “Amen, I’ve had that too”, amongst other believers.  It is a dream in which you will see TONS & tons of creatures that represent satan’s kingdom but they are all lethargic.  One dream I had was were I was kind of being pursued and it seemed I was climbing a sort of mountain up through an attic.  Once I got through the ceiling access to this attic, I was on bright clouds and everywhere were almost toy-like lethargic alligators.  Some people see snakes or other sorts of reptiles.  This is a really affirming dream to have… Father God wants you to trust Him… it’s in Him that your authority lies.

In Eph. 2:6, we can see what is going on with this dream:  “…and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus…”

When do we have this dream?  Let’s look at the context above in Ephesians 2:2:  “…in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.”
“In which you formerly”…. It means you aren’t aligning with satans course anymore.

Having these kind of plateau dreams are nothing to boast about… fear and trembling is more like it.  Your accountability in abiding with our Lord Jesus Christ is held with a high cost.  We each have different callings so, some will encounter way more warfare in the night-watch because of this, and others are only anointed for a seasonal task.  I have personally noticed less dreaming and more intimate daily communication the older I get.  Another change is less warfare and more prophetic dreams. Nothing is set in stone, but I hope some of this sharing will comfort, exhort and encourage those of you having a rough time in the dreamscape.  You aren’t ‘going nuts’… you are an overcomer!

Personal warfare…
Your dreams may be showing you areas you need further deliverance in, especially if they involve animals or you may actually be experiencing deliverance within your dreams.  What have you been praying about or what has the Lord been leading you to deal with?…. pay attention to your dreams!

Principalities and Powers…
Perhaps the people are crying out and God is anointing you and sending you out to contend with principalities and powers?  I won’t go into examples here but you can look at the sitemap on my website (www.hearingGod.tv) and look up ‘territorial deliverance’ for an example of bigger battles confirmed with dreams.

Prophetic warning or protection dreams…
I have a share of a few dreams that made it abundantly clear on how to remain safe…

Another believer got upset with me and was mirroring attacks and accusations I was receiving elsewhere.  I showed that believer what the enemy was doing and how they were unwittingly joining in.  And then the warning dreams began…

I had two dream flashes before waking & then upon waking I somehow knew it was regarding this believer:
The first was of one of my molar teeth just breaking and shattering, & then the next was a glimpse of myself with one skeleton arm.
These were back to back snapshots that happened very quick and then I awoke.  The interpretations of these were that speaking to this individual would be damaging to me and reaching out in any form would be disastrous on my part.

A few days later I had a dream of going thru a kinda half underground hallway - almost like a mineshaft.  It was loaded with cobwebs & looked as though it had never been cleaned, but I was shocked because I knew I had just been there not long before and it was all clean.  Again, I awoke with this person on my mind.  By this dream it was revealed that the person was not taking thoughts captive, not implementing any spiritual housecleaning and so it was as if what all was gained before was lost.

Matthew 12:43-45 "When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.' And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.”

And don’t forget we are prophetically shown things so that we can pray and intercede, whether it’s for individuals, leaders or nations!  Prayer is so important!

Last night I had a negative dream that could potentially fall in the prophetic warning category as well as in ‘Programming’… in the dream it was showing our truck that in real life is in the shop.  In the dream it was showing something negative about the mechanic and something bad happening with the truck.  As I began to pray and war over the situation and calling the enemy’s plan for evil down…. I began to get pretty agitated and realized that the enemy was intending to harm our truck and relationship with the mechanic.  Had I agreed with the dream or had not covered everything in prayer I would have left a gaping hole of attack for the enemy.  The promises of God are mine.  The promises of God are yours, and with the two-edged sword of the professed Word we shall overcome!

If you are abiding in the Lord, these attacks expose every move of the enemy to your advantage!
Where most people are fighting defensively and dealing with the effects of an attack… Rejoice and pay attention to your dreams and welcome to the offensive upper hand.
God is pouring out His spirit in these days so that we might believe, trust and move in great exploits!

Earning the 'Right' Way

Q:  "I have heard people in spiritual warfare say we can have God turn our spirit bodies into fire that toasts the devils as they try to attach to us. I never heard of that before?! I know all things are possible if you believe, but never head of this in Scripture. I heard of calling down fire, and I have done that to devils..."

A:
Psalm 68:2

As smoke is blown away by the wind,  
may You blow them away;
as wax melts before the fire,  
may the wicked perish before God.

 
"The wicked melt" ... is probably their basis of thought.... but not something 'called upon'.  IT happens because you become the righteousness of Christ (Christ within you shines so bright!). Unfortunately we must earn this, not call on it...hee hee. 

But even so... heed warning...even the false prophets will speak the Word and get results...because that's just how powerful the Word is.... in that people really can obtain power by 'coming up some other way'...

John 10:1

 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, 
but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber."

.... so it'll work for them....but it's not the 'right' way.

Birds, Bees, 'Coming of Age', What Happens Spiritually? Pt1

This video (and series) is about what happens around the time of puberty or 'age of reason', from a spiritual standpoint. The time where you transition from being under Mom and Dad's spiritual wing; from innocence into accountability.
You don't have a free ticket to heaven anymore... you know too much. You're accountable for your own sin now. You have to receive Jesus for yourself; your own personal relationship. Not the one of your parents.

Being a teen is a tumultuous time, especially spiritually. You just popped up on the enemy's radar. When the enemy would look down before he'd only see Mom & Dad's covering, but now he sees this new dot next to them. And if the enemy can entice you and get you to sin and then condemn yourself straight out the gate... if he can get you to believe his lies instead of the truth... if he can't turn you from Jesus, he can tap you off from Greater Works and moving in the power of Jesus. Essentially a saved but powerless Christian. Well, we don't want that... we want alllll the promises of God manifest in our lives!

The first attacks for those coming out from under Mom & Dad's wing are most notably of 'the flesh'.

As a child, a baby... you cry when you need something, whether a diaper change, food or love... and that need was taken care of by an adult. In your exodus from a child into adulthood, satan's first line of attack is appealing to the basest of our physical needs. In Luke 4:1-2 we find out that Jesus having just been baptized, goes immediately into the wilderness for forty days.

(Luke 4:2b) "And He ate nothing during those days, and when they had ended, He became hungry."

What was the first attack? Remember, it was a challenge to satisfy that base need of hunger in turning Stones to Bread.
Jesus answers satan in this attack by saying:

"One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God."

What can we learn? As we come out from under Mom and Dad, it's not our circumstances or what people say that matters, but it's what God says that alone is the truth. And this can be comforting... because some of you out there have had a rough childhood... Mom or Dad may have not been around... you may have been hurt by people in authority positions, or even at church that speak the gospel but then don't follow it's instruction. As a child you had to go with what you were given; your parents or caregivers will have to account for what they did or didn't do in your care. Even though you're accountable on your own now don't feel your youth disqualifies you... what did young David do?

1Sa 17:26 "Then David spoke to the men who were standing by him, saying, 'What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should taunt the armies of the living God?'"

David didn't look at the circumstances... when the bear charged or the lion... He believed God and could ignore Goliath's taunts because of God's promises and truth. The Bible is your benchmark now... so invest spending time building relationship with God, so you can stand confidently when Goliath comes to taunt you!

In my next video, I'd like to go more in-depth with how satan first attacks using temptations with our base physical needs. And this is a key time because we go beyond those base needs of love, care and food... in maturing, we have the addition of sexual maturation, which keeps the human race going, right? The thing is, is that satan will use this new thing that you don't quite understand... bodily changes and the hormonal mood swings... he'll try to use all that to confuse you and get you to defile yourself... turning what God says is good and holy and natural into something dark, dirty and a vice that satan can use to condemn you and make you feel like you can't have restored relationship with Father God after you've heartily repented. Even if it's too late and you already screwed up... let's know that Jesus offers us complete forgiveness with no condemnation...

The Accuser

This study focuses on the book of Nehemiah-- looking at the actions of Sanballat, Tobiah and other peoples that were opposed to the Israelites rebuilding Jerusalem after having been freed from the Babylonian captivity. [*A good study-- not vouching for the ministry as I don't 'follow' people around, I only multiply what HE puts in my lap.]

As we endure the more and more frequent birth pangs leading up to the second coming of Jesus, I want to exhort all of you out there that are becoming aware of the weeds growing right alongside of the wheat. These weeds that attempt to choke out your growth, block your access to the light and drain you of the nutrients you need. How many of you have encountered a person that 'knows' the scriptures but pushes a doctrine or condemnation at you if you don't believe exactly the way they do? Let's dig in and expose the 'accuser of the brethren'.

You may learn to recognize the accuser by looking at the actions of Sanballat, Tobiah, and Geshem in the Book of Nehemiah in the scriptures. As a background… this the story of Israel’s return from the Babylonian captivity and the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem. The Israelites had favor with and were encouraged by their new Persian ruler to go rebuild their city and make offerings to their God. However, the people who lived near Jerusalem did not want the Israelites to build the city again. People like Sanballat and Tobiah were connected to the Israelite people via marriage.

But marriage was a no-no with people that didn't serve YHWH for many reasons… foreign people served foreign gods, and our God wanted a people for Himself… not divided amongst the kingdom of darkness.

“Nor shall you make marriages with them. You shall not give your daughter to his son, nor take his daughter for your son. For she will turn your son away from Me, and he will serve other gods …”
Deuteronomy 7:3-4

“No Ammonite or Moabite shall enter the assembly of the LORD; none of their descendants, even to the tenth generation, shall ever enter the assembly of the LORD, because they did not meet you with food and water on the way when you came out of Egypt, and because they hired against you Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse you. “Nevertheless, the LORD your God was not willing to listen to Balaam, but the LORD your God turned the curse into a blessing for you because the LORD your God loves you. “You shall never seek their peace or their prosperity all your days.
Deuteronomy 23:3-6

We don't have a correlation here like in the book of Ruth…

Ruth 1:16 "…for where you go, I will go … Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God."

…but we have peoples intermingled …peoples with spiritual defilement that do not abandon those root spirits that are evident as they manifest against the children of God.

We can look at this today as the accuser of the brethren… or people that contain that same sort of 'mixture'-- with one foot in the bible, yet not adhering to true conversion (or 'circumcision of the heart') by displaying the good fruit of a life ruled by Jesus Christ.

It's important to know and be firm in what you are doing despite any attacks, despite any accusers that rail against you. Sometimes it's just helpful to see the 'writing on the wall'… or better yet, the scriptural gist of what you know is coming against you, so instead of wasting your time you can confidently let people babble all they want and remain undistracted from winning the prize.

"When Sanballat the Horonite and Tobiah the Ammonite official heard about it, it was very displeasing to them that someone had come to seek the welfare of the sons of Israel." Nehemiah 2:10

• The accuser is grieved when you seek to rebuild your life in Christ.

• The accuser will gossip and turn others against you.
• The accuser will use his anger to make you afraid.
• The accuser will use his anger to belittle you.
• The accuser will mock you and what you are doing.
• The accuser will accuse you of being too weak or too old or too young or too ignorant to do what God has told you to do. -Disqualification - Intimidation

• The accuser will question if you can protect yourself.
• The accuser will question your depth of commitment.
• The accuser will suggest that you have made a rash decision that you cannot keep.
• The accuser will imply that it is too late to change because of your past experiences.
• The accuser will suggest that even if you start to rebuild your life, that it won't do any good.
• The accuser will declare that you will be overcome by the smallest enemy.
• The accuser will state that the least pressure will cause you to fall again.
*The glaring absence of Faith, Hope or Love in you.

"Now when Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites and the Ashdodites heard that the repair of the walls of Jerusalem went on, and that the breaches began to be closed, they were very angry. All of them conspired together to come and fight against Jerusalem and to cause a disturbance in it."

• The accuser may attack you repeatedly with strong anger.
• The accuser will join his forces (demonic powers) to fight against you.

"Thus in Judah it was said, "The strength of the burden bearers is failing, Yet there is much rubbish; And we ourselves are unable To rebuild the wall." Our enemies said, "They will not know or see until we come among them, kill them and put a stop to the work." When the Jews who lived near them came and told us ten times, "They will come up against us from every place where you may turn..."
Nehemiah 4:10-12

• The accuser will attack when you are tired.
• The accuser will attack when you don't feel like you are able to rebuild.
• The accuser will suggest that he will attack you in secret when you don't know he is attacking.
• The accuser will declare that he will destroy you and cause you to stop God's work in your life.
• The accuser will say the same thing over and over knowing that if you ever stop to listen to him that he will have you.

"Now there was a great outcry of the people and of their wives against their Jewish brothers. For there were those who said, 'We, our sons and our daughters are many; therefore let us get grain that we may eat and live.'"

• The accuser will use division among Believers to attack also.
• The accuser will suggest that you are doing something that is unreasonable that will be of harm to others.
*Note: You may also have an internal conflict which the enemy may use against you.

"Now when it was reported to Sanballat, Tobiah, to Geshem the Arab and to the rest of our enemies that I had rebuilt the wall, and that no breach remained in it, although at that time I had not set up the doors in the gates, then Sanballat and Geshem sent a message to me, saying, "Come, let us meet together at Chephirim in the plain of Ono." • The accuser wants to get you to listen to him so that he can talk you out of doing what God would have you to do.
• The accuser will try to distract you from doing what God would have you to do.
*Note: Are you taking time to listen to the enemy? Has he distracted you from doing what God would have you do? Nehemiah refused to talk to the Sanballat and the others:

"And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?" Nehemiah 6:3

"They sent messages to me four times in this manner, and I answered them in the same way. Then Sanballat sent his servant to me in the same manner a fifth time with an open letter in his hand."
Nehemiah 6:4-5

*Note: Just because you resist the enemy, he may not flee from you immediately. He is stubborn. He may continue to bring accusations against you a number of times.

"In it was written, It is reported among the nations, and Gashmu says, that you and the Jews are planning to rebel; therefore you are rebuilding the wall. And you are to be their king, according to these reports. You have also appointed prophets to proclaim in Jerusalem concerning you, 'A king is in Judah!' And now it will be reported to the king according to these reports. So come now, let us take counsel together."

• The accuser will accuse you of rebellion to the authorities over you. Satan accuses us before God in Heaven, but Jesus is our defense attorney: "Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us" (Romans 8:33-34).
• The accuser may accuse you before the authority over you to push you into making wrong decisions.
• If you're not in a church of the box/institutional church anymore… the accuser will target those you are in covenant with… prayer partners or 'friends'.

"For all of them were trying to frighten us, thinking, 'They will become discouraged with the work and it will not be done.' But now, O God, strengthen my hands. When I entered the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah, son of Mehetabel, who was confined at home, he said, 'Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us close the doors of the temple, for they are coming to kill you, and they are coming to kill you at night.' But I said, 'Should a man like me flee? And could one such as I go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.' Then I perceived that surely God had not sent him, but he uttered his prophecy against me because Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him. • The accuser may again use fear to keep you from doing what God would have you do. (The place of the temple was to be a sacred safe place.)
• The accuser may use those who are close to you (family and friends) and even those in authority to mislead you.

I'm staying within the confines of this book in regard to 'strongmen' listed, however I add more info based on 'Strong's' Concordance-- in understanding the original meaning of the

scripture from it's Hebrew and Greek roots. Those listed in the book are by no means an end, but a good conservative, --and most importantly,unmistakably clear signpost for those seeking healing, greater freedom and deliverance from oppression.

How do we know when speaking in tongues is of God and Not of satan?

I know.... there are so many people out there freaking out about this thing called 'kundalini spirit' and they use that to completely axe speaking in tongues altogether...using it in their doctrines of: "tongues was only for the book of Acts and now it's ceased to exist."

And isn't that what the devil wants to do.... if Jesus imparted us POWER and it (tongues) is one of the manifestations of that power... the devil just wants to steal any ability to stop him, and tongues is a huge thing that does cripple him, because we become a conduit for the Lord's battle... using the words that the Holy Spirit provides-- ie. 'perfect prayer'.

If we have concern for ourselves, in truly speaking in tongues.... in this playlist I promote, Derek Prince talks about if we ask for tongues we'll get it and we don't have to worry that it's something else, because it's simply not biblical to ask for something 'good' from Father God and to then receive something bad! --His character is unchanging:



The other thing we should be aware of is that if we have concern for ourselves because our thought life is telling us we are in error... we KNOW the enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy... we KNOW that 'liar and robber' would like to get us to believe that we are wrong-- push us into 'fear'. So, paying attention to where this 'concern' is coming from and taking it captive and professing the Word that you know to be TRUE is paramount!

Hearing it in others...all we have to go by is what we see in the scriptures.... then by what bears in our own spirits-- is it a feeling of 'darkness' or are we allowing fear to come in us because we don't know? And, this is a big thing, because if we don't know, we have to ask God to show us, because if we're not 'double minded', and truly seeking Him, He WILL NOT keep us in the dark about it--- that's just not scriptural. He gives us fish, not rocks!

One thing that can be done, if you are in the presence of questionable tongue speaking activity... is to use your authority and bind anything that doesn't exalt Jesus Christ etc. ---for what you bind is bound..... then of course.... loose the truth of God, etc. We really do have power to shut the darkness up. If we pray targeting spirit.... we can't get over into witchcraft and be targeting people.... just declare the truth of God.

After binding the enemy from operation and then loosing God's power... Praise is the natural nail in the coffin for any unwelcome enemy operation in a meeting. If you are leading the meeting you can actually do all of this discreetly and guide the meeting to flow in this pattern. If you aren't 'leading', you can still bind and loose, though you may not have power to shift over into Praise (pray for an opportunity to suggest it, especially if the Lord is giving you a song... as He is probably doing the same with someone else who will '2nd your emotion'). The same can be done if a 'religious spirit' shows up, or 'divination' tries to operate prophetically. When the Holy Spirit within you raises that red flag, there is no need to point fingers and shut someone up, to make some 'big scene' that will backfire upon yourself (the enemy will make you look jealous or prideful if you deal with it in the flesh - and this is devastating because it then makes that 'wrong spirit' look 'good'!!!)... you deal with 'spirit' spiritually. You HAVE the authority, now USE it!

When 'Spirits' Manifest Through People

What is really happening when people fight, antagonize or verbally wound us?  In Ephesians 6:11-12 we are told that we need to put on the full armor of God so that we will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil… and then in verse 12 it gives us more understanding of what the enemy's main scheme is.

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."

 Ephesians 6:12

When 'flesh and blood' attacks us, recognize a spirit is attacking you through the individual.  Does it matter if it's a professing Christian and they use scriptures in their heated pursuit? Or a Pastor or church leader of xx amount of years?  No.  Wasn't Peter even susceptible to aligning with a wrong spirit to receive strong rebuke from our Lord? (Mat 16:23, Mar 8:33)

Putting on the armor of God has to become a lifestyle.
As I teach my children, I have described to them how most Christians put on the armor, but then stand there instead of advancing up the hill and actually wielding their sword.

What then are we, as Kings and Priests unto the Lord to do?  Act like it!  We have to get in the mindset that we are not dealing with the person, but the spirit that is influencing the person... and now ensues the silent battle...

Privately begin to forbid (bind) it from operating in your presence (King/Priest, remember?).  Thus begins the advance up the hill. What is IT, you say?  Well, out of the mouth, the heart speaks… so pinpoint the spirit by it's tell-tale assault. Is it rooted in pride, jealousy, anger/rage, gossip…etc.?  If you truly desire to grow in discerning spirits, pray and ask for more of this gift and then pay attention as the Holy Spirit will be nudging your spirit to walk in it.

Remember, we can bind, but casting is more suited for an agreed deliverance kind of situation, because if a person doesn't have Jesus in there…

"Then it says, 'I will return to my house from which I came'; and when it comes, it finds it unoccupied, swept, and put in order.  Then it goes and takes along with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first. That is the way it will also be with this evil generation." 

Matthew 12:44-45

For our more 'sudden situation' example you more than likely do not have permission (especially when dealing with unbelievers), nor time to bring understanding to the situation.  Therefore, bind what affects you.  If it's a brother or sister in the Lord, you can give greater revelation to the situation later (Romans 12:18)… a person that is sorrowful regarding their behavior (as opposed to justifying it), is probably searching for deliverance from a cycle they can't break or just in repentance over a moment of weakness  anyways!  As you continue to live a Holy life others will be drawn to repentance.  They will want to know "How do you do it?"… and the open door for forgiveness, cleansing, or deliverance-- you, might have the honor to lead them through.

Spiritual 'Manifestation' example:  I've heard many a testimony where a rapist would be ready to strike and the believing woman would be either silently or verbally dealing with the spirit motivating the attack unto victory on her behalf.

What about that gossiper that makes you cringe?  In 'life', we can't run and hide… especially when they might be in our own family.  Use your authority in power by the name of Jesus, and scriptures that the Holy Spirit gives you--- all in the privacy of your own mind  : )

Remember the authority you have in the name of Yeshua/Jesus!

Beware, this is not a 'method'.
Speaking it or reciting it through the halls of your mind mean nothing if you are not, at the same time, learning to completely trust and believe the scripture you are saying/thinking is indeed the truth.   That, my friend, is the place we are heading.

The Betrayed, the Pawn and the Source

Ever get stuck in a rut of trusting people and then getting betrayed; then starting to heal and letting your guard down only to be betrayed again?  This painful cycle pushes many to shut down and close the shell but we have to learn that the more anointing we have the more the enemy notices & if people have a door of access.... the enemy knows that the ones closest to us are the ones to target the most.  So... get used to it.

Some of it is a maturity thing as well.  We have to grow in discernment.  Are we finding our fulfillment in telling the Lord everything and conversing with Him, or do we lack a bit of trust and find ourselves feeding our pearls to swine?  Do we use our pearls to get attention? Ouch!

As we grow in the anointing, however, we need to be on our toes and be 'bigger' than offenses.  The enemy loves to break up relationships simply because it is in the foundation of his fall because: "Where 2 or 3 are gathered, I AM there in the midst".  It's just like in the scary movies… why does that one always break off from the group and go alone? We need to put our spiritual glasses on and see what the enemy is doing & that it's not the people attacking us, but in their weak spots... it's the enemy.  Sure the people agree with that wrong spirit ... but they are currently blind to what they are doing-- forgive them, they know not what they do.  

I often tell my elder son, "honey, it takes 2 to be in a fight and you're older and 'know better', I expect you to be the mature one and let this thing go to keep the peace."  So in that, can you also see that if God is raising you up, yet your attacker is more of a babe, Father God does expect more of you as well.  Hand that pain over to Him, sit at His footstool and learn to discern.  As time grows you'll realize His Spirit was warning you and giving you discernment as to be more clear so the enemy wouldn't come in to twist things… was warning you not to divulge certain things to certain people because they are weak in an area; was warning you it was a pearl given to you and ONLY for you. (Kudos to journaling…. if you haven't started, hop to it…. some things you learn from HISTORY, and if you don't record your history…. you better have an amazing memory LOL!)

So if this is indeed a recurring cycle, know the enemy is having a great time with your REACTION.  Ever hear the phrase "Go round that mountain one more time, sweet Jesus"?  The cycle persists because 'IT WORKS'!  Perhaps you are looking at the person & your anger, hurt, & caving in etc. is directed towards them.  So you need to shift how you are seeing all of this... if the person is a pawn (which they are) then you can begin to see as Jesus views this & love the person & target the enemy instead.  If your reaction is going to send you into a pity party every time-- then the enemy is going to play this card over & over.  Then you'll end up a wounded, dried-up shell upon the floor.  If you learn to see it for what it is...if you therefore STAND...then he'll hafta try something new because if he can't get a rise outta ya....he has to fleeeeeeee.

Ladies… this is harder for us women to deal with because we are social & we do get our hearts wrapped up in things; we do pass out our pearls and more frequently wear our hearts on our sleeves...  but when we KNOW what the enemy is doing we can really overcome!

"I try to Read the Bible but I Just Can't"

If you focus on Jesus, He'll order everything else in place. Hindrances to reading the bible are NOT you.... remember we are in a spiritual battle. If you allow the spirits that try to block you from reading the bible & such to conquer you--fear will continue to run you around. Read the bible even if you don't want to....it's spirits that try to hinder you...the word of God is called the 'sword of the spirit'...it's a weapon. As soon as you take it & begin to use it, it's over for the enemy in your life & it's only onward & upward. Begin to pay attention to the thoughts you have or the distractions that happen every time you move towards seeking God in the bible or praying. It's no coincidence. Bind them up in the name of Jesus and move forward.

Spiritual Warfare

What is Spiritual Warfare, why do we need it?  Why would Jesus tell us to bind and loose if He took care of it all at the cross?  I'll be sharing the importance of the application... the appropriation for what Jesus did here on this episode of hearingGod.

Spiritual warfare is the next step for a spirit-filled, born again overcomer.  It is one thing to believe the promises of God, but an overcomer steps into the ministry of Jesus... doing what He did, and even 'greater works than these'.

Spiritual warfare is simply the implementation or the applying of the blood of Jesus, and the application, with authority, regarding of the word of God.  It is you saying 'I only do what I see the Father doing'.  It is NOT in running around picking fights with the devil... which is a dangerous contrivance of the flesh.  If God doesn't lead, you will not succeed!

A spiritual warrior realizes what this statement means:  "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do".   That we war not against flesh and blood, but powers and principalities... that evil spirits influence people, cities and nations... and that we, in the power of His blood, have His authority to bind the demonic from operating, and loose the things that align with the Spirit of God here on earth.

When a person can understand that humans are influenced by spirits, fear can be overcome.  "What can man do to me?" (Psa 56:11, Psa 118:6)   This of course does not make us 'above the law' of common sense... If we stray away from seeking His will and in doing only what we see the Father doing... we will reap the consequences of presumption.

I have an experience to share...

I don't have the luxury of getting out much, so when a co-worker of my husband  offered to babysit and paid for our dinner, we were elated.  We went out & had a blast.  The next day my younger son was telling me how the co-worker kept badgering my older son about getting a girlfriend. 

Whoops!   Maybe we were a little too excited to get out of the house in that we forgot to do some spiritual house-cleaning before we left the kids with this co-worker.  And this is part of spiritual warfare... realizing that we cannot allow presumption to reign over our actions.  True, the person isn't like a child molester or anything... but all people are eligible to be influenced by spirits.  Presumption was to let this guy watch our kids and trust that everything would just turn out fine, but as a spiritual warrior we must 'know better'-- we have to first seek God's plan... not our selfish desire to get out of the house and have a nice dinner.

So in seeking God about it, I was led into a teaching moment with our children.  I was able to instruct them about what the bible says, and then set that next to the visible behavior of the co-worker, the inordinate fascination with women or a spirit of 'lust', so they could see that it was a spiritual issue.  I was able to explain the difference between being able to cast a spirit out vs. binding the spirit, because if a spirit is welcome... it's their choice.... we cannot make it for them.  BUT, we do have authority to bind and loose!  So I was able to equip my kids that if in a situation where they recognize a spirit beginning to manifest... how they can deal with it, by binding it from operation.  

Think of the foreign countries that hand the kids a rifle and put them on the line... on the same token, don't you dismiss the power of a praying child for one moment... you need to teach them how to overcome-- how to be that arrow in your quiver.  This is important... Mom & Dad aren't always going to catch everything.

So can you see the spiritual warfare in all of this?  We can't bury our heads in the sand and go into fear living in the world... we have to believe that we are above only and never beneath. (Deu 28:13)

What about things bigger than spiritual influences on people?  Do you cry out over the abominations in the land? (Eze 9:4 ) Do you know you can make a difference? 

Deu 11:24 "Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours..." 

When you see areas of depravity in your city or neighborhood, it is the physical sign of a spiritual problem. 

And, I want to give some credence to the term "territorial spirits"....Even in the Word we see clearly that the demonic can set in some tent pegs in a locale and reek all sorts of havoc.  In Daniel 10:13 we see that principalities rule territorially, because of the tell-tale kingship title:  "But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days.  Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia." 

What gives that prince and power of the air more authority to hold the people in bondage even more?....What people welcome, is welcomed...if they dive into sin, and lose their conscience and openly embrace evil... evil is what will reign.  But God raises a standard. (“When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall raise a standard against him” Isaiah 59:19.)

Again, if you are sighing & crying... it's perhaps because God is raising you up.  So let's talk strategy.  Prayer walking, or prayer driving is a way to bring in the Spirit of God to (Psa 110:1)"...make thine enemies thy footstool."  Again, this is taking the Word of God to heart... believing it and implementing it.     Does this mean to abandon all common sense and go walking in the darkest part of town?  No, again... if you ask, Yeshua you'll find out what to do. 

My husband and I have amazing testimony of psychic shops and hidden prostitution rings shutting down because of the burden we had in our locale.  We've prayer-walked New Age fairs and witchcraft purveyors finding their hocus pocus to naught for the day, including tibetan 'art' ceremonies that openly boast that they invoke a deity or deities----hmmm, a 'gate of hell', perhaps?

Even my young son can praise Jesus because one day he and Dad were led to prayer walk a different area (at my son's leading) and they found out the next day, that in that area they walked, a child on a bike was hit with a car, but no bad came of it.  My son marveled... in that the enemy desired to shed innocent blood, but by the simple prayer of this little one HE heard and dispatched His angels! 

Binding and loosing... you betcha.... you are the living ark of the covenant, the Holy fire-bottle of the presence of God.  You are all about what the 'gap' needs to be filled with to bridge the Spirit of God across. (Eze 22:30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.)

What about things even bigger than what I'd call 'territorial deliverance'?  What about 'the nation' or nations, or people groups that need to be free?  If the Lord puts a burden on your heart... go to your prayer closet and pray and ask God.  I believe there are a great many of intercessors and prophets out there that aren't blossoming their gift because they are waiting on their church or prayer circle of friends to feel that burden or because of that burden are ignored or chastised.  I tell you to go to that place in secret and pray, and be obedient.  Do as the Father leads because those around you may never 'get it'. 

We are not in happy club-mode people... to serve Him is not the popular thing because man likes to get the credit.  God is looking for warriors with hearts completely sold out to Him... ones that sigh and cry, ones that care for all mankind... not just the ones that we like.  We need to be in get-as-close-to-Elohim-as-possible, mode!

Battlefield of the Mind - Discerning Thoughts

The Lord is leading me into a focus on the battlefield of the mind-- the final frontier...

In 2Corinthians 10:3 we read, "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh." 

If more people could pin the tail on the real donkey and understand why Jesus exclaimed "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do"... mankind is under the prince and power of the air's influence.  As seekers of God, it is important to seek the difference in that man can activate thoughts by God or the enemy into the flesh.  One brings forth the Kingdom of God, and one aligns with the accuser of the brethren.

Let me back this up though because my heart is to exhort and teach believers, but why not include even a person that is in denial about God?  A person that says... "I looked for God but He never showed up"?  Wow, that's the best and most noticeable situation to be in... IF you are sincerely looking for answers.   The devil doesn't want you to make a decision for Jesus... perhaps all the other times you looked, the devil cleverly talked you out of how God was answering your prayers or speaking to you.  Now is the time to Pay Attention to your thought life.

After I went through a generational deliverance session... I was amazed how quiet my noggin was!  I used to have tons of thoughts always racing through my mind... always judging others... constant daydreams playing our scenarios of 'what to do next' or 'what should I have done' in past situations.  I hadn't realized how scatterbrained I had been... how much overtime my mind was doing, processing so many things at once.

Some time after I renounced all the sins that granted all that extra chatter in my head via the sins of my forefathers...  I was viewing an online exhibition of Tibetan artwork.  I was viewing the most horrid multi-armed, fang-faced, knife-wielding, blood-thirsty statue and I heard.... "Oh, it's beautiful" in my head.  HELLO... not my thought... no way.... no how! 

I encourage you to get scientific in your pursuit about discerning your thought life.  Even those of you that have received Jesus as Lord and Savior...   do what the scripture says about holding everything captive.  (2Corinthians 10:5-6 “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”)  Go through one day with a hand-held recorder and speak these random thoughts & then by the end of the day you'll be able to identify what you know was You... vs. what was maybe a lightening bolt kind of thought that popped into your head and you are unsure.  Then consider the thought. If you have premonitions about things... know that the enemy could be sending those as well... that is a grey area the enemy likes to use as counterfeiting the prophetic in Yeshua.  I want to bring that up so you don't end up as operating as a psychic.  If you are seeking a relationship with Jesus above all else, He will keep you.... if you seek after hidden knowledge apart from Jesus and not inquiring with Him... you've got an open door for receiving information from familiar spirits, i.e. demons.

Obvious thoughts..... you will find blatant judgmental thoughts, crude thoughts, perverse ones....(Mark 7:22, Romans 1:29)  These thoughts oppose God... these are not you... these are the dead-ringers, the give-a-ways to the enemies devises.  You can agree with these thoughts and make them your own.  You can come into agreement with these thoughts and if a sin is welcome in your spirit...you'll always think it's you.  Ever agreed that you're ugly?  This is not from you... God says 'you were fearfully and wonderfully made' (Psalm 139:14) --and guess what, He's not a liar. 

If a thought has birthed an action into sin by you and you find you have no conscience that it is contrary to God... it's because you have embraced it.  If you have embraced it but feel bad about it from time to time... consider the Holy Spirit is trying to drag you out of that pit you've dug for yourself.  The enemy does not like to be exposed... if you do not feel complete freedom in this supposed sin, if you have shame... look up, Jesus loves you, and you can be free.  If you can begin to say (Rom 7:15 ) "I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do"....and then monitor yourself, you'll begin to see the war that is going on in your mind.

One of the biggest mind-trips the enemy does is in getting you to birth sin from that initial thought.  Then, condemns you into thinking there is no forgiveness, no escape from that pit.  And this is where overcomers shine...  when that condemning thought enters your mind, when that sinful thought enters in.... an overcomer is one that recognizes the source, takes it captive saying "devil, I know it's you!" --- believing the word of God you speak, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." -- or scripture of your choice.   Binding that thought, command it to the pit, or the footstool of Jesus, and speak the opposite of what the devil was pushing in that thought from the word of God.... using that sharp sword.  Example:  The devil says "You remember last week you were so rotten... you screwed up so many times... you don't learn from your mistakes... you're just a hypocrite...", and on and on.  RIGHT THERE is the doorway... what are you going to do with that thought?  Well let me tell you... you recall the scriptures and target it just like Jesus used the Word of God against satan in the desert.  You say, "excuse me devil... if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for my sins" (1John 2:1-2).   If you get attacked with a sexual thought.... "no devil, my body is a temple of the Holy Spirit."  Are you seeing how to take captive and combat?  The Word of God is our foundation... you seek it, you read it, you implement it and it builds every part of the  armor of God (Eph 6:11).

So I've kind of transitioned over to discerning thoughts for the believer in Jesus, but I want to say, there are many christians out there that receive Jesus but do not understand the importance of paying attention to our thought life.  They think receiving Jesus is enough and allow these terrible thoughts to manifest as terrible sins against fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord. 

The biggest warning I have is that the devil will put in your mind a spirit of self-justification.  This is a 'religious spirit'.  Remember keep your friends close, but your enemies closer?  Well a religious spirit is one that twists the Word of God... like Eve dealt with in the Garden.  The base of it is spiritual... the enemy latches on to your bad self and gets you to justify the sin.  Gossip goes unheeded on our radars because... 'oh, that person is sinning-- it's okay to EXpose sin'.  Backbiting goes unheeded BEcause... 'they didn't return my book, therefore they aren't a person of their word'.  Attack of character based on doctrinal belief differences.... 'because after all, if you don't believe what I do, you must be a damned sinner because I know God talks to me, so you must be listening to the devil...'  This is the most dangerous stuff to entertain because christians open up their hearts to other christians and the wounds can be so deep as believers attack other believers.... the devil's favorite weapon of choice.... the same spirit that killed Jesus.

If you have a negative thought of a brother or sister in the Lord... if during this teaching your head has been a bed of mumbles railing against me... just stop & see it for what it is.  Stop and pray for that person... you are having those thoughts because the enemy wants to use you as a weapon.  The devil doesn't want you to free... doesn't want you to be an overcomer... c'mon and prove him eternally wrong!
