"...For theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven"

You know... we are STILL doing that PA, Power and Love Series.... every time we do a long car ride with the kids. In the last one it was kind of profound because Todd White talked about what he believed Paul's 'thorn in the flesh' was. Didn't believe sickness was it (I don't think many of us overcomers 'buy' that view anyhow, Lol).... Todd stated he believes the thorn is persecution.
Let's consider the basis of one of the very first things prophesied of paul in the scripture... the Lord said he was called to suffer..

"..for I will show him how much he must suffer for My name’s sake.” Acts 9:16
Watch the clip from 1:12:07 to 1:15:20...

Attitude Adjustment...
Ponder with me on this is a bit of 'wow'... hit the nail on the head..., and let's change our attitude a bit.

There are a great many of us standing & fighting & yet feeling gut-punched because we know the Word is true-- we walk it/live it, but we just continue to feel 'slugged'... and a bit of sadness shrugs over us.
But changing perspective like Paul did, can be a game-changer for us. When we change perspective...not only does the hope begin to flood, but you can see the honor in your suffering and persecution.

2 Corinthians 12:8 "Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me. 9 And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10 Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong."

Victorious Mindset...
Does anyone really wake up in the morning and think... "What I do today is impacting and changing the world tomorrow for Jesus Christ"? How many slumbering warriors are out there missing this vision? How many are taking the punches and going into pity-party mode....creeping into-a-hole mode, instead of shouting "GLORY!"? There are MANY.

It's a hamster wheel of non-efficacy.

Sure it's not fun... even Jesus asked that the cup be removed... and it's okay to desire a lighter load, but are we retreating as sand or a rock that stands unbroken?

John 18:11 "...the cup which the Father has given Me, shall I not drink it?'”

You Must Prophesy...
If you've found yourself relating to sand...pity parties and retreating to a hole... I have a small smooth stone to take down that goliath mindset in your life.  It's simply agreeing with the Word of truth.  If it's not there and you speak what is true... you are prophesying it.  And does it return void???  The catch is, is that you MUST speak it.  How does faith come?
I can sit here and know all kinds of scripture and sit in a hole of sadness or I can fight and speak it out boldly for heaven, for earth and under the earth to hear.  As I speak it out, my listening ears hear and faith grows.

Acceptance...

Did you know that the reason for persecution is so that we would be separated from the world?

John 15:18-21  “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you... If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you... because they do not know Him who sent Me."

What is the goal and purpose of this short life?  Is it about ourselves, our own accomplishments... whoever has the most toys.... LOL.  No, of course not... it's about refining for our completeness in relationship and ultimate purpose in God's plan.  Our hearts are truly restless until they rest in our creator.  In heaven, there will no longer be a 'God-shaped' hole in our hearts.  So although we don't feel, or taste, touch or experience the more lofty and comfortable promises of the Word, we can know we are doing just fine.  We're just 'fitting in' the world to come more-so then this place... and that's where we WANT to be!  With that in mind, we can thank Him for the great things we are doing that we cannot comprehend in our current bout of persecution.  We can press onward boldly, knowing it's just not about us, but who can we take with us?
“Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."  Matthew 5:10

Pray Without Ceasing - Spiritual Tips 7

Hi Freedom 1 here, hearingGod.tv and today I'd like to share tips for learning to Pray without Ceasing.

First off, I'd like to dig in the Word a bit, because this lifestyle of always praying is so important for the days we are coming upon. While the wood is green…[Luke 23:31

"For if they do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?"]

...in these good times that surround us He wants us to draw close.

In Luke 21 Jesus talks a lot about the 'Signs of the Times'… He talks of what we are beginning to witness taking place in the earth.

Luke 21:31

"So you also, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near."

And then, in Luke 21:34-36 Jesus exhorts us to:

"Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life,

[which is essentially saying, don't be weighted down with carnal living with excess, addictions/bondages and not trusting God]

and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap; for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth.

[hard times are promised to all--this is how the lukewarm are pushed out of the middle…we approach black and white folks…no more grays]

But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man."

1 Thessalonians 5, again we take the full context in that this speaks of the end...

"For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night." 1 Thessalonians 5:2

We are exhorted again...

1 Thessalonians 5:17 "..pray without ceasing;.."

So how do we begin to have a lifestyle of always praying? Ever heard of the phrase "creature of habit"? Well, we often think of habits in terms of negative things… but I want to show how you can begin to create a lifestyle of praying always and it's not a big chore either. You simply weave it into your life.

[bathroom]

Laugh if you want but implementation is easy… think of your daily schedule and places you can implement a good and prayerful atmosphere. The bathroom is a no brainer… it's not like you have other things distracting you. By putting a little Bible Promise book in there, a scripture a day calendar, or even an exhaustive study…LOL...

[banging on bathroom door "Hey, you done yet?"]

or just one verse… you are creating a positive habit.

[kitchen]

This one I just started recently… while putting away dishes, I make a conscious effort to remember to Bless myself by making a little sign. So, any time I put away clean dishes, I speak life and blessing and health into my life as well as into my family. Note, this is one of those labors we have to do every day and it's mindless, boring…but see how we can turn it around into something really powerful! How often do you bless yourself or proclaim that the promises of God are yours?

[laundry]

Laundry is again, one of those mindless labors… but I am always led in intercession during it. The same goes with sweeping the floor or cleaning… put a ribbon on the end of your broom… do something that causes you to remember to pray, and pick a different facet to pray about. For me, it's intercession in the Holy Spirit… maybe for you, cleaning reminds you of your Mother, and so maybe it can be your prayer time for family, or unsaved people you know.

[car]

I love the car, because one of my sons picked up on it immediately and I didn't even have to put a reminder in the car to remember to do it. Our car time is our "What are we thankful for?" time.

I left to take my son to school yesterday and the 'no fuel' light was on. I started our "Thankful time" with declaring and giving thanks that I had enough gas to get to and from preschool (which is very close by) and that the angels would help. When I returned to the car from preschool, and started the ignition, the light was off and the tank was full! This would be a miracle that wouldn't phase me because I've heard many testimonies like it. However, later on in the day I realized that my husband had just filled the tank over the weekend… the fuel gauge must've gotten stuck! Well, who got it unstuck or fixed it if it was broken? The point is, is that I asked and I received.

Guess what my son's prayer was during our 'thankful time'?

"Jesus, I am thankful for my Mommy to do teachings". And it was those little words that said Jesus wants me to share this message right now with you.

When you speak life and blessing over yourself, and build communion with Father God; learn His Word and despite the 'worries of life', you speak His truth… then you begin to see His Kingdom come, His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. So start now in these 'good times' because it grows the anointing within you and you will grow to hear His voice clearly.

Why is praying without ceasing so important to begin to implement? In the days when the wood is dry and we need to pray healing when there is no doctor, when we need food but food is scarce, when danger and worries are everywhere you'll be one to manifest His truth. Because the "…effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much". (James 5:16)

Children's Church - Wheat, Tares, Yeast and Mustard Seeds

Children and Adults alike...
Thank you for joining us in Children's Church,
we'll be reading from:
Matthew 13:24-43, and having a little fun with mustard seeds.... are you up to a dare??

24 Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven maybe compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 "But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away. 26 "But when the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the tares became evident also. 27 "The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, 'Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?' 28 "And he said to them, 'An enemy has done this!' The slaves *said to him, 'Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?' 29 "But he *said, 'No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 'Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, "First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn.'"" 31 He presented another parable to them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; 32 and this is smaller than all {other} seeds, but when it is full grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that THE BIRDS OF THE AIR come and NEST IN ITS BRANCHES." 33 He spoke another parable to them, "The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three pecks of flour until it was all leavened." 34 All these things Jesus spoke to the crowds in parables, and He did not speak to them without a parable. 35 {This was} to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet: "I WILL OPEN MY MOUTH IN PARABLES; I WILL UTTER THINGS HIDDEN SINCE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD." 36 Then He left the crowds and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him and said, "Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field." 37 And He said, "The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, 38 and the field is the world; and {as for} the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil {one;} 39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels. 40 "So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. 41 "The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, 42 and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 "Then THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.
