"...For theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven"

You know... we are STILL doing that PA, Power and Love Series.... every time we do a long car ride with the kids. In the last one it was kind of profound because Todd White talked about what he believed Paul's 'thorn in the flesh' was. Didn't believe sickness was it (I don't think many of us overcomers 'buy' that view anyhow, Lol).... Todd stated he believes the thorn is persecution.

Let's consider the basis of one of the very first things prophesied of paul in the scripture... the Lord said he was called to suffer..

"..for I will show him how much he must suffer for My name’s sake.” Acts 9:16

Attitude Adjustment...
Ponder with me on this is a bit of 'wow'... hit the nail on the head..., and let's change our attitude a bit.

There are a great many of us standing & fighting & yet feeling gut-punched because we know the Word is true-- we walk it/live it, but we just continue to feel 'slugged'... and a bit of sadness shrugs over us.
But changing perspective like Paul did, can be a game-changer for us. When we change perspective...not only does the hope begin to flood, but you can see the honor in your suffering and persecution.

2 Corinthians 12:8 "Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me. 9 And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10 Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong."

Victorious Mindset...
Does anyone really wake up in the morning and think... "What I do today is impacting and changing the world tomorrow for Jesus Christ"? How many slumbering warriors are out there missing this vision? How many are taking the punches and going into pity-party mode....creeping into-a-hole mode, instead of shouting "GLORY!"? There are MANY.

It's a hamster wheel of non-efficacy.

Sure it's not fun... even Jesus asked that the cup be removed... and it's okay to desire a lighter load, but are we retreating as sand or a rock that stands unbroken?

John 18:11 "...the cup which the Father has given Me, shall I not drink it?'”

You Must Prophesy...

If you've found yourself relating to sand...pity parties and retreating to a hole... I have a small smooth stone to take down that goliath mindset in your life.  It's simply agreeing with the Word of truth.  If it's not there and you speak what is true... you are prophesying it.  And does it return void???  The catch is, is that you MUST speak it.  How does faith come? 

I can sit here and know all kinds of scripture and sit in a hole of sadness or I can fight and speak it out boldly for heaven, for earth and under the earth to hear.  As I speak it out, my listening ears hear and faith grows. 

Acceptance...

Did you know that the reason for persecution is so that we would be separated from the world?

John 15:18-21  “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you... If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you... because they do not know Him who sent Me."

What is the goal and purpose of this short life?  Is it about ourselves, our own accomplishments... whoever has the most toys.... LOL.  No, of course not... it's about refining for our completeness in relationship and ultimate purpose in God's plan.  Our hearts are truly restless until they rest in our creator.  In heaven, there will no longer be a 'God-shaped' hole in our hearts.  So although we don't feel, or taste, touch or experience the more lofty and comfortable promises of the Word, we can know we are doing just fine.  We're just 'fitting in' the world to come more-so then this place... and that's where we WANT to be!  With that in mind, we can thank Him for the great things we are doing that we cannot comprehend in our current bout of persecution.  We can press onward boldly, knowing it's just not about us, but who can we take with us?

“Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."  Matthew 5:10

Ripe for the Pick'in - Bringing the Sheep to Jesus

The internet is ripe for the pick'in...

...so for those of you with a burden to help the sheep come home as the wheat and tares are being sifted... I have a great feast for you!

First of all... you have to be 'out there' in some form or fashion. In any case, whatever you do, whether free booklets, a blog, songs, videos.... you need to research SEO (Search engine optimization). You must really put yourself in the audience's shoes... what would you type in Google to find a specific subject? So you must use the science of being search-friendly.

I use the 'description' or 'about video' box on Youtube to type in as much rich/relevant info as possible to pair up with the tags that I had to set up. Another thing you can do is post links to your material elsewhere as it helps with ranking. To be on page one for a given search on Google is golden.... think about it.... how many pages do you flip through on Google looking for something before you give up??? Yah, this stuff is important, because if you are reaching out to the world for God, you want to be effective with that light on the lamp-post (not under that basket!). Posting links on Facebook, twitter, blogs, websites and wherever, drive up the ranking (or better said, move you closer to page 1 on Google).

A Word of Caution...
Your ministry drive must be fueled for reaching souls for Christ Jesus AND NOTHING ELSE. If things like page ranking become more important than the gospel... "pride cometh before a fall". In all things you are asking Yeshua for help in multiplying the talents He's given you. SEO need not be such a mechanical function that you begin to act a flake and email strangers on Youtube asking to sub for sub, or begin to send out heartless cookie-cutter pleas to where people feel as though you are 'using them'... and if you do that...maybe Jesus won't be so appealing if you are His ambassador, a? Use wisdom people! Alliances and building with others of a same heart, ministry or message is great but another avenue of caution... remember, the enemy gains power by breaking our unity...

satan says, "Where 2 or 3 are broken, I am there in the midst", LOL (no, I'm not quoting scripture).

A Good Starting Place.... Your Testimony!
Here is a great lil' vid I did a few years ago, to especially help those that have never tried beyond one on one encounters:

Many never try because of negative confessions of 'I'll never figure out the technology', etc. But I say, whenever I hit a brick wall, I just Google my problem because I know I'm not alone! Confess, "Yes, I can do this WITH YOUR HELP, Lord". And lucky for you... I even share (in the video) tips for people that don't like public speaking, are camera shy etc.!

Multiplication...
In the event that you've done the best you could with the testimony idea, (remember Jesus' charge: "And He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.'" Mark 16:15) --the next thing to do is to multiply things that God clearly has his anointing on (Matthew 25:14-30, The Parable of the Talents).
What is the unforgivable sin? (Mark 3:28-29) Not only not recognizing when God shows up, but attacking it. So on the same token... what is the blessing for multiplying the precepts of the kingdom? Yep... good stuff. You'll hear me in teachings sometimes "I don't want to reinvent the wheel"... and so I then I refer people to other ministries teachings etc. I can't tell you how many treasures of the kingdom are missed out on because people are so afraid to laud another's God-given revelation. OR, they 'steal' by not adding references where they got it, or pawn it off as though they received it themselves. Do you what to talk about hell-fire? HA! God see's this!

"He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward." Matthew 10:41

No, we shouldn't fear multiplying the 'good stuff' because if we do (multiply it), we will be rewarded for it! If you don't have that sheep-wrangling gift or burden, then multiply what He has anointed, to fill up your heavenly piggy-bank!

Okay, and now for a testimonial treat!....
I'd like to end this exhortation with a little training session, because as you put your net out there, you will begin to have people contacting you for help, healing, prayer, etc.
If in every situation, you can first empty yourself of responsibility and cling to Jesus saying, "I shared, they came, & now I'm giving them to YOU, because I'm not their Savior".... then you're on the right track!

So I've been given permission to share communication from this very process... so you all can begin to see the impact I had in simply sharing the Word of God in a video, and how the Lord moved the individual to cry out and then how I began to pray... how God showed up and used me as a vessel and how a man's life will never be the same... I know this because the Lord gave me this scripture for this particular individual:

"He makes my feet like hinds' feet, And sets me upon my high places." Psalm 18:33

Because of this I knew that there was a grand calling on this mans life. Will you also nourish and encourage the ONE in ministry? Shall we begin?

So I got this comment on a video....

"Praise God! I have been praying for God to heal me from addictions. I am full of fear, paranoia and uncertainty because of these addictions. I know God is listening and will answer my prayers and bless my Mother and Father. God bless you all!"

So I prayed for them during the broadcast, re: "Prayer and Help Concerning Addictions", sending that Youtube clip and this was the reply:

Thank you so very much for praying for me! When you spoke in tongues, I felt a surge energy go through my body (almost electric). I believe this was God working through me. My family and I have been suffering from financial lack for almost ten years (financial curse). After losing his job, my Father began drinking heavily (beginning of 'addiction') which didn't help at all. Money has always been an issue (again, financial curse) and source of family arguments. I have also been unable to find a job after many years of searching (curse passed on from dad). We have lived in bondage for many years.

Looking back, this led to depression and feelings of inadequacy. In order to self-medicate, I developed bad habits that I have struggled to break. A few weeks ago, I had suicidal thoughts but prayed to the Lord and I believe He has spoken through me in many ways, including you. The enemy keeps implanting thoughts of worthlessness, guilt, anxiety and depression in my mind. At times, I feel like a failure and I am uncertain as to what the future holds for me.

You are absolutely right. I have been praying Psalm 91 repeatedly over the last few weeks; it is one of my favorite verses. How did you know this? I have been struggling with this addiction for many years but I believe the tide is turning in my favor although it is still a difficult process. I'm sorry for my long-winded response. If I mentioned psalm 91 (I'd have to watch it again, I don't remember), it was the holy spirit flowing.... He is constantly giving me things to say and interpretation of tongues as I speak or pray for people. You feel that electricity & that 'Wow' over the psalm 91 stuff because He's doing it... not me... I'm just a clueless, but willing vessel, LOL.

You have my permission to share all of my comments. Thanks again for praying for me and my family. Do you know what is interesting? I forgot to mention this in my previous response. You probably will not believe me so I understand. The night before I got my prayer response from you, I had dream.

In this dream I opened my email account and there was an email from someone regarding prayer/prophecy. When I awoke yesterday morning, that was when I discovered that you had sent me a message via YouTube regarding my prayer request. I am still a little awed by this. Coincidence? I am not sure. Anyways, thanks again. I will go through the Housecleaning series. I will also check out Derek Prince's material.

And I replied:

This is 'normal', LOL... I totally believe you : )....
...What this is showing us is that you are really in tune with the Lord, and you should be excited for the destiny He has for you...

I then shared about taking a spiritual giftings test, because that scripture was showing me that he will cleanse and be running... (do look up the chapter-context of this scripture, Psalm 18:33... I am excited, because this one is a WARRIOR):

"He trains my hands for battle, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.." Psalm 18:34

Do you have feet like the deer to securely scale the high places? Like this one, I want to see you equipped and stepping out to go after the one. Bring them in and them point them to Jesus... and rest assured He WILL do the rest!

Glimmer of Hope

So today at work I figured a new trick of the trade, and God spoke volumes during it...

During one facet of work I really can't see what I'm doing very well and so the process is painfully slow.  I need to use both my hands so I cannot hold a flashlight.  Though I have access to a headlamp, I'd have to freeze my head in position to focus that beam & it'd only lead to a stiff neck!
So today I realized that just before the container is too full, a slight reflection of light bounces from 'somewhere' to cue me when to stop.

This is a grand discovery because previously I was slow and overcautious... you know how you see those cooking shows and the people that don't get their food cooked in time are the ones that opened the oven door too many times and let all the heat out?
Ya, like that.... that constant worry and over-cautiousness led to very slow productivity.

And so He chimed right in at my 'cool' discovery and said to 'pay attention'.  So I thought about each element... of how when the days are dark and we can't see what we are doing... how the only way to know the way is by that reflection or glimpse of His light bouncing off of anything:

"..by their fruits you shall know them.."  Matthew 7:16

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."  James 1:17

I thought about how when we are worrying, how unfruitful we can become.  How heavy-laden with doubt and depression! 
But conversely, how seeing such a small glimmer can give us drive and hope to carry onward no matter how far off it is.

As I clung to that 'glimmer' I found myself racing through work, and delighted to finish in record-time.

And lastly, I realize how easy it was a thing to miss!  It's taken me how long to notice what's taken me from 'putt putt putt' to 'zoom zoom zoom'?!  And that's the amazing thing... now since I've 'got it' I can never look back.  I've suddenly went from what seems light-years ahead overnight. I know 'better'.... I know the good thing to do... the BEST thing to do.  It's my benchmark now.  I can confidently say I'm efficient; I'm a good worker because it's the best I've got to give.

When we know and trust who He is, and believe who He says we are, things really get done in the Kingdom.  Like that 'glimmer' it only takes the faith as small as a mustard seed to move that mountain.  Are we earnestly looking for change; for improvement, or are we looking so hard at that 'issue' that we miss the glimmer?  When we look at Goliath do we remember Jesus is much 'bigger'?

Expectant Faith, Expectant Hope…. He's there, the answer is there... just latch on to that glimmer of hope and never turn back!
