Birds, Bees, 'Coming of Age', What Happens Spiritually? Pt 2

…Continuing from my last video on the subject of just what happens to folks spiritually around the time of 'age of reason'… I had mentioned that satan will attack us by fleshly means.

• eyes, ears & mouth
pornography, inappropriate music, coarse jesting (filthy talk)

When you're a child, all of this stuff is ideally filtered by parents… and in coming of age and the drive for independence and autonomy the enemy likes us to believe we've been missing out on something. Couple this with peer pressure and it's an easy trap… but let's look at what the Word has to say.
"The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!"
Matthew 6:22-23
I'd like to share a reflection by John Fenn in a study he did about God's thoughts on porn:
"Leviticus 18 is the chapter that covers pornography, and the phrase seen repeatedly is this: 'You shall not uncover the nakedness of...' (Your mother, step-mother, sister, sister-in-law, niece, neighbor's wife) The Hebrew word translated 'uncover' means to 'de-nude', or remove clothes for the purpose of seeing (them) naked with sexual intent. That's not talking about bathing your children/grandchildren or going to a doctor - it's talking about uncovering another's nakedness with sexual intent."
Music is obvious and trust me, when I was young I said this same line you're thinking "But I only listen to it for the beat… I don't pay attention to the words." But realize that if God created everything with His spoken word… do consider that even subliminally all words have power and effect. Ever research 'subliminal messages'?--- Hey, science is totally on my side here.

And what about that Piehole? Heart pollution from the eyes and ears… if not taken captive and dealt with come out like a little snake out of an egg to then become ear pollution for someone else.
"The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart." Luke 6:45
That's why the scriptures are so harsh talking about the evil in a tongue.
"But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints; and there must be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks." Ephesians 5:3
• daytime fantasies
These 'fantasies' need not only be sexual, but could be revenge or greed - pride based… you name it.
2Cr 10:5
"Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.."
Mat 5:28
"..but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
• eyes, ears and fantasies (in a sexual light) lead to masturbation…

Now I could focus on any one thing… like watching violence and speaking violence and having violent fantasy metastasizing into violent action… but I want to focus on the uncomfortable subject of masturbation ---down the sexual path because this is a big issue that nobody wants to talk about! Although not expressly listed in the Bible as a sin, masturbation is almost always the result of viewing porn, lustful thoughts (fantasies), suggestive talk or sexual stimulation.

Again… look at: Mat 5:28
"..but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart."---and this is sin in just looking with a sexual fantasy playing out in the mind!

It is the root of what drives masturbation that people turn a blind eye against. We know it only takes one second of a porn image to be ingrained in the mind… even if it hits us innocently… we know on the internet that happens a lot! We're not even looking to sin, but that's the thing… evil is out there lurking. We WILL be assaulted by evil in this life, but will we choose to cling to God? Do we denounce that evil… take that image captive or do we allow the enemy to role-play fantasy that pushes us over the edge? Any time we are assaulted by our eyes or ears, it is our responsibility to halt the enemy from advancing as per 2Cr 10:5:
"Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ…"
So the scripture is great right? But you're saying, "What do I do? How do I enact what the Word says?". Well, In the video called: "Strongholds Edu - Spiritual Housecleaning", I gave an example of how we are to take those things captive and deal with them through a demonstration of someone sending a gross picture in an email.

In it, I labeled what I felt I was being attacked with… a 'perverted picture' --so I called it a spirit of 'perversion'. And the same holds true for any thought, whether it be anger or jealousy… whatever is hurled at you, identify what it exemplifies and address it by binding it in the name of Jesus… and then casting it or commanding it to the footstool of Jesus for His judgement.
"Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven." Matthew 18:18
Why to the footstool?
Study these:

Ephesians 1:22-23

Luk 20:42

Mar 12:36

Matt 22:44

Ps. 110:1
Jesus has given you the authority but you must exercise it by enforcement.
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12

Now it might be disappointing that you don't to see this spiritual battle take place, but it is going on! Just like the video clip, God's angels hear you and carry out what you've spoken.

Now to go one step further… if you are repeatedly attacked in an area and you desperately want to overcome… after you bind and cast… prophesy over yourself the opposite attributes of the attack. If the Bible says you can have something… in prophesying it, you are agreeing with God and His truth over your life, even though you may not show it yet… you are saying "I want to be holy, because You are Holy, Lord".
"Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me." Psalm 51:10
Loose into yourself God's truth! In my example, what is the opposite or antonym of 'perversion'? Purity, holiness… so loose that and declare it wherever the enemy was attacking you in your soul. Then meditate frequently on scriptures that focus on Purity and Holiness.
"For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart." Hebrews 4:12
"So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11
I have one more point on the topic of masturbation, "• dreams", but I want to save it for the next video because it leads right into a whole section about what happens spiritually when we entertain and engage in those activities that the scriptures warn us to keep away from… So stay Tuned!
-------------
Taking things captive and dealing with them Prayer:
"Spirit of ________, I bind you up in the name of Jesus and command you go to the footstool of Jesus Christ for His judgment.
I now loose ________, into my soul where the enemy was attacking me and I declare ((add scripture here that affirms what you are loosing, ie. if 'depression' was attacking you… then 'joy' is loosed and you could say, "for the joy of the Lord is my strength!" Nehemiah 8:10))
I pray this all in Jesus' name.

Get in the House - Warning

Sharing dreams about upcoming war and the dire importance to "Get in the House" to be protected through it all. Many are looking to and fro over NWO, Illuminati, conspiracy theories, nephillum, book of Enoch etc.... yet it isn't the pursuit of this 'knowledge' that is going to do anything for us but keep us from refining our 'house'... the temple for the Holy Spirit within us.

In my dreams I can see the atmosphere so charged and littered with debris and it's just those types of heady pursuits (NWO, Illum. etc) that add to what the Great Deception is all about --keeping you away from intimate relationship (hearing God clearly), getting your wedding garment ready (pure vessel), so that you can move in greater works (purity=POWER).

Scripture and thoughts from the video:
Rev. 22:11.... "Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy."

....His sheep know His voice.

Matthew 25:1.... the parable of the 10 virgins.... keeping your lamp lit requires maintenance!

Matthew 5:3-12... the beatitudes.... who SEES God? The PURE...

Colossians 2:8-10
"See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority.."

Proverbs 3:6.... "In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight."

Repentance Required to Receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit

Excerpted reading from a sermon by Smith Wigglesworth (1859-1947) entitled: "Ye Shall Receive Power"

-------Repentance Required to Receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit-----

“'Ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon you.' The disciples had been asking whether the Lord would at that time restore again the kingdom to Israel. Christ told them that it was not for them to know the times and seasons which the Father had put in His own power, but He promised them that when they received the Holy Ghost they should receive power to witness for Him in all the world. To receive the Holy Ghost is to receive power with God, and power with men…."

"…The Lord wants all saved people to receive power from on High--power to witness, power to act, power to live, and power to show forth the divine manifestation of God within. The power of God will take you out of your own plans and put you into the plan of God. You will be unmantled and divested of that which is purely of yourself and put into a divine order. The Lord will change you and put His mind where yours was, and thus enable you to have the mind of Christ. Instead of you labouring according to your own plan, it will be God working in you and through you to do His own good pleasure through the power of the Spirit within. Someone has said that you are no good until you have your “I” knocked out. Christ must reign within, and the life in the Holy Ghost means at all times the subjection of your own will to make way for the working out of the good and acceptable and perfect will of God within…"

"The Holy Spirit will come when a man is cleansed. There must be a purging of the old life. I never saw anyone baptized who was not clean within.

I remember being in a meeting at one time, where there was a man seeking the Baptism, and he looked like he was in trouble. He was very restless, and finally he said to me, “I will have to go.” I said, “What's up?” He said, “God is unveiling things to me, and I feel so unworthy.” I said, “Repent of everything that is wrong.” He continued to tarry and the Lord continued to search his heart. These times of waiting on God for the fullness of the Spirit are times when He searches the heart and tries the reins. Later the man said to me, “I have a hard thing to do, the hardest thing I have ever had to do.” I said to him, “Tell the Lord you will do it, and never mind the consequences.” He agreed, and the next morning he had to take a ride of thirty miles and go with a bag of gold to a certain party with whom he dealt. This man had a hundred of cattle and he bought all his feed at a certain place. He always paid his accounts on a certain day, but one day he missed. He was always so punctual in paying his accounts that when later the people of his firm went over their books, they thought they must have made a mistake in not crediting the man with the money and so they sent him a receipt. The man never intended not to pay the account, but if you defer to do a right thing the devil will see that you never do it. But when that man was seeking the Lord that night the Lord dealt with him on this point, and he had to go and straighten the thing the next morning. He paid the account and then the Lord baptized him in the Spirit. They that bear the vessels of the Lord must be clean, must be holy.

When the Holy Spirit comes He always brings a rich revelation of Christ. Christ becomes so real to you that, when, under the power of the Spirit, you begin to express your love and praise to Him, you find yourself speaking in another tongue. Oh, it is a wonderful thing! At one time I belonged to a class who believed that they had received the Baptism in the Spirit without the speaking in tongues. There are many folks like that today, but if you can go with them to a prayer meeting you will find them asking the Lord again and again to baptize them in the Spirit. Why all this asking if they really have received the Baptism? I have never heard anyone who has received the Baptism in the Holy Ghost after the original pattern asking the Lord to give them the Holy Ghost. They know of a surety that He has come.

I was once traveling from Belgium to England. As I landed I received a request to stop at a place between Harwich and Colchester. The people were delighted that God had sent me, and told me of a special case they wanted me to pray for. They said, “We have a brother here who believes in the Lord, and he is paralyzed from his loins downward. He cannot stand on his legs and he has been twenty years in this condition.” They took me to this man and as I saw him there in his chair I put the question to him. “What is the greatest desire in your heart?” He said, “Oh, if I could only receive the Holy Ghost!” I was somewhat surprised at this answer, and I laid my hands on his head and said, “Receive ye the Holy Ghost.” Instantly the power of God fell upon him and he began breathing very heavily. He rolled off the chair and there he lay like a bag of potatoes, utterly helpless. I like anything that God does. I like to watch God working. There he was with his great, fat body, and his head was working just as though it was on a swivel. Then to our joy he began speaking in tongues. I had my eyes on every bit of him and as I saw the condition of his legs I said, “Those legs can never carry that body.” Then I looked up and said, “Lord, tell me what to do.” The Holy Ghost is the executive of Jesus Christ and the Father. If you want to know the mind of God you must have the Holy Ghost to bring God's latest thought to you and to tell you what to do. The Lord said to me, “Command him in My name to walk” But I missed it, of course. I said to the people there, “Let's see if we can lift him up.” But we could not lift him, he was like a ton weight. I cried, “Oh Lord, forgive me.” I repented of doing the wrong thing, and then the Lord said to me again, “Command him to walk.” I said to him, “Arise in the name of Jesus.” His legs were immediately strengthened. Did he walk? He ran all round. A month after this he walked ten miles and back. He has a Pentecostal work now. When the power of the Holy Ghost is present, things will happen."

Marinate!

Stingray shouts out a word of exhortation to Marinate in the presence of the Holy Spirit for help in overcoming the iniquity that surfaces on our path to Holiness.
Sometimes we need to step back and remember it's not 'how much' stuff we dump in our path, but it's how much stuff we absorb!

Blessings as you overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of your testimony!

Something So Strong - Delusion and Divination

"The prophets are prophesying falsehood in My name. I have neither sent them nor commanded them nor spoken to them; they are prophesying to you a false vision, divination, futility and the deception of their own minds." Jer. 14:14

I share a dream, a song and an exhortation to put blinders on and focus on the narrow road...

More scripture:
"All the counsel you have received has only worn you out! Let your astrologers come forward, those stargazers who make predictions month by month, let them save you from what is coming upon you. Surely they are like stubble; the fire will burn them up. They cannot even save themselves from the power of the flame. Here are no coals to warm anyone; here is no fire to sit by. That is all they can do for you—these you have labored with and trafficked with since childhood. Each of them goes on in his error; there is not one that can save you." Isaiah 47:13-15

"Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy." Rev. 22:11

"For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect." Mat 24:24

...Isaiah 41:21-29...
21"Present your case," the LORD says. "Bring forward your strong arguments," The King of Jacob says.

22Let them bring forth and declare to us what is going to take place; As for the former events, declare what they were, That we may consider them and know their outcome. Or announce to us what is coming;

23Declare the things that are going to come afterward, That we may know that you are gods; Indeed, do good or evil, that we may anxiously look about us and fear together.

24Behold, you are of no account, And your work amounts to nothing; He who chooses you is an abomination.

25"I have aroused one from the north, and he has come; From the rising of the sun he will call on My name; And he will come upon rulers as upon mortar, Even as the potter treads clay."

26Who has declared this from the beginning, that we might know? Or from former times, that we may say, "He is right!"? Surely there was no one who declared, Surely there was no one who proclaimed, Surely there was no one who heard your words.

27"Formerly I said to Zion, 'Behold, here they are.' And to Jerusalem, 'I will give a messenger of good news.'

28"But when I look, there is no one, And there is no counselor among them Who, if I ask, can give an answer.

29"Behold, all of them are false; Their works are worthless, Their molten images are wind and emptiness.

"Something So Strong" Lyrics - Crowded House

Love can make you weep
can make you run for cover.
Roots that spread so deep
bring life to frozen ground.
Something so strong could carry us away

Something so strong could carry us today.

Turning in my sleep
love can leave you cold

The taste of jealousy is like a lust for gold.
Something so strong could carry us away

Something so strong could carry us today.

I've been feeling so much older

Frame me and hang me on the wall.
I've seen you fall into the same trap

This thing is happening to us all.
Something so strong could carry us away

Something so strong could carry us today.

Something so strong
something so strong

Something so strong
something so strong

Potter and the Clay

We hear: "He is the potter, we are the clay" (Is 64:8) in the scriptures, but the beauty of a parable is that we are drawn to step into another's shoes to liken our own situation. So as you think of Him as a potter…. place yourself in His shoes…

Let's dig into a very valuable study based on the reflection of a Potter and of the process that a vessel goes through…

We first take a piece of clay and pound on it to get out any air. I liken this as the fact that salvation is offered to every man and woman. We are all offered a choice. We are all put in a pounding place where we must choose light or darkness.

Under those tough times we are proven what we are made of.

Luke 6:45 "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”

Then we throw the lump of clay down onto the wheel. Within your mind you've already decided what type of vessel you are going to make. Let's look in our cabinets…. we have plates, bowls of various types, platters, sugar, creamer etc. If we are making a set for ourselves, we will make what we will use. Each have a specific purpose in our place setting and we will make enough to fit our family size.

God purposes us individually … He foreordains what part of the 'place setting' we are to be… but He doesn't make junk. He doesn't sit there and say… "Now I need a broken dish just so I can throw it away". No, let's step into a potter's shoes.

Did you know that if you don't beat the air out of clay it can explode in the kiln?

"God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble." (1 Peter 5:5)

Did you know that contaminants in the clay can cause the same to occur? If you have a little rock (contaminant) in a bowl you are spinning on the wheel, it can collapse the whole thing as it catches in your hand and creates a perforating score that then collapses the whole piece.

As we are conforming to Christ Jesus, we are co-laborers in the Kingdom. He created us all good with a purpose, but it is us that must keep out the contaminants of sin… it is us that must take the full gospel… not only bits and pieces.. it is us that must bear good fruit in the 'try times' of purification.

After the vessel is created it must dry and become greenware because there must be no moisture in the firing process because moisture is also an agent that can cause pottery to explode. You can have a kiln full of many beautiful pieces, but one with moisture in it can act as a grenade destroying the whole batch. What is that moisture like? It's like pride because it makes things swell. We can really relate to this one, in that one individual can have the power to destroy the faith of many, or to lead many astray.

But let's get back to this greenware stage…. greenware is very fragile. Does it look finished? Well, maybe from a distance, but is it usable? NO. It will melt if water is reintroduced to it. It must be fired.

After firing it becomes bisque. Is it usable then? To some extent, but it won't hold liquid, but for a short time, because it's too porous. It must be glazed and then fired again.

Are you seeing the parable of the sower in this analogy? Some only go so far with the 'Word' they hear.

It's the same with pottery… He gives us a place in advance, but we have a part in making it. I like song from Eli… it's from the 90's called 'The Lumber Song', in it, it focuses on the concept of how we lay up our treasures in heaven.

song excerpt:

Passed a mansion made of stone

But with each new house he's shown

They get smaller by degrees

Stopped in front of a two room shack

Pete said hope you're happy with that

Man said: "How can this be?"

Pete said:

Chorus:

That's all the lumber--that's all the lumber

that's all the lumber you sent

Looks like the builder--man he's got your number

That's all the lumber you sent

That's all the lumber you sent! It's the same with our hand in pottery… He's already determined the vessel… but like the Lumber song… are we choosing the right clay? (*side note: A different clay could be likened to a different doctrine... in the end however, it's our HEART, and if we are FOR or Against Jesus.)

Are we keeping out impurities? (Sin) Are we going the distance? (Empowered in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit)

So let me recap and flesh out the Parable nature of this "Potter and the Clay"….

On the hard surface:

We must first choose light or darkness. Pounding is inevitable as we are amidst an unseen battle for our souls.

On the wheel:

To some there are too many contaminants in the clay so that a vessel cannot even be formed, which is likened to rejecting God. But, some go on and make it off the wheel.

Greenware:

To some they have the appearance of being a vessel; or we could say an appearance of 'goodness' or ‘godliness, but explode in the kiln because they didn't follow the instructions [Jesus is the only door]. Remember that greenware is brittle… I've got this fun little piece my son made in preschool where they pressed toy dinosaurs into it to get an idea of how fossils were made. A little straggler piece broke off very easily. If I put the whole thing in water the clay will soften and he can do the whole thing over again. Greenware is where a lot of the 'church' is… the appearance of ‘godliness’, but when taken under a faucet… just like in the parable of the sower, greenware is like all the seeds that fell everywhere but on the good soil.

Fun Fact: The finest porcelain wares do not need glazing to render them

impermeable to liquids, but glaze makes them resistant to dirt and staining... How far will the Bride go in adornment?

Bisque:

And others retain their shape, but only have limited usage. They've went through some fire, they are solid… they aren't going to melt. This is likened to receiving Jesus as Lord, but not being Baptized in the Holy Spirit… we must receive the 2nd baptism, if we want to be fully useful in the Kingdom of God!

Jhn 7:38 "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being ((ie. belly)) will flow rivers of living water.' "

Glazing:

But the ones that are glazed are not only beautiful; tried through the fire several times, but are also true vessels to be set at places of honor at the banquet. With the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, these are able to carry rivers of His life.

The finest porcelain may not 'need' glazing to hold liquids, but it is the glaze that adds that touch of beauty to adorn the finest of tables.

There are many rooms in His Father's house (in OUR Father’s house). Only Bisque and Glazed items are fit for use at all. As we lay up our treasure in heaven, do we have a meager dwelling with cupboards of Bisque or are we producing fine glazed porcelain in palaces of honor in His kingdom? We all need to examine and contemplate, "Am I being used to my full potential? Am I on the path to conforming to the vessel that He has created me to be?"

Purity in the Bride

An excerpt from an older video... excerpting the 'good stuff'!
Have you ever had to hand wash an article of clothing before? Now c'mon, you don't just put soap on there & wring it together one time & rinse. No. If you've done this before you know this is a process...a rinse, repeat, maybe some soaking in between... but you do it til' the spots are gone or you have to throw out the garment or use it as a rag because else the haze of that spot would be embarrassing. Are you listening here?
Without spot or wrinkle. Are we looking forward to getting out that spot?
You better look forward to it...

"Whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives." -Hebrews 12:6

Did you know that is our wedding garment and you have 2 choices.... get out that spot or throw the garment away. But don't you know you're not going to be able to just pick another one up at the store...nope, the store is closed. With each rinse and repeat....with Joy....we should be exclaiming....see, look here, you can't see it so much, it's going away---get out the soap and enthusiastically wash it again...

Didn't you know Jesus is an environmentalist? He doesn't like to throw anything away. Everything in His plan has purpose-- even those seeming bad or hard times. As the sun is setting & the light is fading...Oh, look here....I can still see this spot when I hold it at an angle, let's get out that soap again.... we'll get it this time. We have to get it out before all the light is gone and then I won't be able to tell anymore.... the garment has to be spotless and then dry overnight...

No, the ones that are too proud & think they know it all think they'll just pick up another garment at the store--- whoops, that was wrong revelation, I'll just pick and choose one of the other flavors here in the cheese case.... but that's not how it's going to be, is it? You can't even buy oil this late... every man to his own lamp! Do you have your own relationship with Jesus?

How are you looking at the test, bride?

Revelation 7:14 ... "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
