The Jesus Experience

Q:  I can speak in tongues but I don't feel that sensation inside that others talk about and so I wonder if I'm even baptized in the Holy Spirit at all...

A:  "If we ask for the 'right thing', we will never get the wrong thing", is a great quote by Derek Prince, because it's true.  We know the promise of loaves and fishes and not snakes and rocks.  We also know from the Word....
James 1:5-8 "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."
The best way to 'feel it' is when it flows from worship, adoration and blessing the Lord.
I can go throughout the house with the burden (to do tongues) & just blurt it out,  or in praying for people & then switching over into it....but when I find myself saying 'I love you Lord', and then praise & etc.  that's when it floods.

Bind up doubt, perhaps repent of looking for 'feeling', and declare that rivers of living water flow from your belly because you have invited in the Holy Spirit to dwell within. (If you've asked you WILL receive.... reading this and not asked yet? Check out this Playlist.)

When we earnestly desire gifts it's like being at a concert & your favorite (Jesus) singer is on stage.... Your focus is not where you are in the concert hall...  ie: the person in the very back is not grumbling where they are more than focusing on the star...  No matter where we are in the place, we are enraptured with Jesus and we are pushing forward to the front row to see Him better, hear Him better, to hope we can catch a free t-shirt,  snag an autograph or even to be hand-picked for a backstage pass!  If we're too busy thinking about 'where we are', grumbling etc. and not on the star, we're missing the experience!

Sing along with the Str
Isaiah 41:10 "Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."
